Warm where you need to be.

Don’t put your bike away when temperatures drop. Just slide the Castelli Trasparente Full-Zip Jersey onto your shoulders and put it in the wind. The Trasparente is a cycling-specific women’s stretch softshell top with strategically placed fabric panels optimized for warmth and comfort in the saddle. There’s a good bit of Italian style thrown in there, as well.

Castelli used Windstopper X-Lite fabric for the areas that will be most affected by the wind during a ride. The front of the torso and the forearms are made with this 2-way stretch, completely windproof fabric. And, while it keeps the wind from freezing you out, it’s moisture-wicking and extremely breathable. That means it not only allows water vapor to escape to avoid clamminess, but it pulls moisture away from your skin and moves it to the surface of the fabric, where it’s quickly evaporated.

The back of the jersey is made with Castelli’s Warmer—a plush, fleecy fabric that traps heat while allowing moisture to escape. The jersey also features three back pockets, a 3.5cm gripper at the back, and a specially designed collar with a notch at the back that prevents bunching when you're looking up in the seated (pedal) position.

    • Windstopper X-Lite front panels, forearms, tops of shoulders
    • Warmer fabric back, back of forearm
    • Three rear pockets
    • 3.5cm elastic stabilizer at back of jersey
    • Ergonomic collar with anti-bunch notch
    • Reflective accents

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

The first one I had was a gift, and I loved it so much I bought myself another in a different color. Soft, snug fit w/great wind protection in the right places. Love the full zip. I might be able to slip a thin base layer underneath for added warmth, but I've no trouble wearing this in 45 - 55 degree temps.

Be a hero, buy one for your wife!

My wife has grown to like my ever expanding euro cycling wardrobe. I've purchased a few Castelli pieces for her and as it cooled off here it was only natural to pick up a late season piece for her. Sizing seems spot on in terms of comparison to her other Castelli pieces - she wears a medium short sleeve and sleeveless jerseys, a medium was perfect in this garment as well.

More like a light jacket than a jersey I'd say. I need to order the XL because the L is too snug. Form fitted and a quality item. Really sharp.

    Love the fit!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love this jersey! It's great by itself from 50-60 degrees and with a long sleeve base it's good down to 40. I'm 5'5" and 107 lbs and the XS fits perfectly.

Perfect for cool to cold riding!

I am 5'4" 128 lbs and purchased the medium. It is a snug fit so layering underneath (arms are very snug) is challenging. It works well at 40-60 degrees and with the Castelli rain shell over, it is perfect. I sometimes will add a light vest over the jersey and under the rain shell. With appropriate thermal base layers, it could be worn under 40 degrees. I love this jersey/jacket!

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small

Wow, I knew Castelli runs small. I have an old Castelli Medium Jersey that seems to fit smaller now, so I ordered a large for this one. I am NOT a large in any athletic clothes, though, I do understand that cycling jerseys run small, I wear a medium in all GORE and Pearl Izumi... I am 5'9 and weigh 145lb. This large was so tight in my arms... and really was not a comfortable fit. Just my 2 cents. You other ladies must have very small builds.

    Love it

Great fit, great style, really love this jacket. Exceptional quality, sleeves are nice and long, very comfortable to wear on the bike.

    True to size for Castelli.

    Functional & Stylish Jersey

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I adore this jersey. I've worn it on long Fall rides and commuting around the city. It fits impeccably and is stylish to boot. I'm 5'6" and 135lbs, and went with a medium which fits perfectly. I wear it with the Castelli Calorosa Cap Sleeve baselayer and the two are a great combo. Plus anything that helps me enjoy riding in cooler weather even more is a plus!

    Great jacket

I LOVE this jacket. I was getting so cold on rides so I got this jacket to wear with an Icebreaker Tee shirt and the combo is wonderful. I'm 5'7, 145lbs and I got the medium and its PERFECT. Slightly tight but that's what you want. I'm so happy I took the plunge with this jacket, it's just great.

I love this Castelli Jacket, it is perfect for riding in 50 to 60 degree weather. The ergonomic collar completely covers the whole neck area, which really makes a difference in keeping wind out and staying warm. I always know I am perfectly dressed for the temp when I wear this jacket. I also have the warmer Castelli Jacket that I wear when it is below 50 degrees.

They run on the small side, so the large fit me perfectly.

      Castelli Transparente Jersey

The best gear is the gear that lets you participate in an activity without thinking about anything but your performance. By that criteria, this is one of the best cold weather jerseys out there. I wore this while racing cyclocross and didn't think about it once during the race. Nothing pulled, pinched, or left odd areas exposed. The buttery soft material kept me warm without overheating. Love the fit and the design lines. I'm 5'6" and about 135lbs and got this in a medium.

Rosso Corsa- the best. Fit, material, design. My wife loves it. 5, 5, 120lb, size S. Lovely thing indeed. Not too heavy, not too light. Made in Italy.

          Fabulous jersey

I live in Seattle and use this as a light but stylish and well fitting jacket over a long sleeve jersey on cooler days. I have it in black and it is really beautiful, perfect fit (I ordered a size M- I often wear smalls in other brands). I love that the length of sleeves and the jersey works well for me- I am 5'8 with longish arms.
I love it and wish I had one in white too!

            Love this jersey

I live in the California Sierra foot hills and the terrain is either up or down, so it’s difficult to find the right combination of clothing. Layering is difficult because you can’t ride more than a few miles without having a significant climb, and what goes up must come down. So you either cook on the way up or freeze on the way down, or are constantly stopping to take layers off, or put them back on. This jersey really solved the problem. On a steep climb I can unzip the jersey all the way down to a few inches from the bottom to cool off, and then at the top zip it up to the neck for the ride down the other side without absolute freezing. Once zipped up it really retains body heat, so it’s very warm for such a light weight jersey. It’s also perfect when riding into a cold head wind. I bought the white jersey and have had no problems keeping it clean. It washes very well. Also the XS is really an extra small, so for the small gals like me you can finally find a jersey that fits snug enough to show off your figure.

              Good-looking and good wearing jacket

This is in between a L/S jersey and light jacket. I wear this with only a sports bra underneath in 55-65 degree weather and it works great. It is not scratchy at all, so no base layer needed if weather is cool. Lower temps, I would wear one. It is long in back and, thank you,.... longer in the front as well! Also, nice long arms. It is white in front and black in the back. I have good movement all over, but I did order up a size, should I need to layer more and it is not cold enough for my winter jacket (Castelli Inspirazione jacket... amazing, by the way). Good for some wind protection, but not great. I have had to unzip on climbs. I am 5'-8" weigh 135 (140 in winter), got a Large, and glad I did. Plenty of room but not oversized in the mid-section for me at all. Overall - a great jersey for cool weather.

                Perfect for 55-65F

This is the most thoughtful long-sleeve jersey I own. It's more like a very lightweight jacket. It's like someone at Castelli read my mind. The windstopper fabric extends through the entire front of the jersey, including the sleeves, keeping my arms protected from icey cold descents and fast flats where a winstopper vest and long-sleeve fleecey jersey has failed, resulting in shivering icicle arms, yet it's strangely still too warm for a full windstopper jacket. The neck is very high in front and back for added cold and wind protection. And if you get too warm, just unzip it. Looking forward to many more rides in Texas "winter" weather.

Two days later: as a side note, the "rosso corso" label came off in the wash, no biggie, the jersey is unharmed. Wore it again today, still loving it!

Hey there. Thanks for your question, yes we do ship to Chile but unfortunately we can't ship Castelli products outside the US due to vendor trade restrictions. If you have a friend or family in the US, you can have the item shipped to the US address then have the friend/family forward the package on to you. Let me know if you have any additional questions!

Can't quite understand your question, but maybe this will help???

If you're wearing a white jersey...then wear a white base layer underneath...same goes with a black jersey...wear a black base layer underneath.

Wash all bike clothes in cold/cool water & hang-dry. This will help protect fabric, and help prevent colors from bleeding (in some garments), and help prevent fabric from shrinking.

You may still need some other type of warmer jacket to go over this jersey if it gets really cold. Hope this answers some of your questions!
