    Warm-weather comfort.

The Castelli Tempo V gloves are comfortable, light, and breathable—designed specifically as warm-weather cycling gloves. Long-lasting grip comes from the AX Suede palms that are embedded with strategically placed foam pads to support your hands on long rides. Comfortably wipe sweat off your brow with the microsuede thumbs, and thank the bike gods for the Lycra backings that evaporate moisture and evacuate heat on sweltering rides.

great if you can buy them cheap

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: medium

The Castelli Tempo V gloves are lightweight, breathable and so comfortable that I can barely tell that I’m wearing them. They’re perfect for the summers here in Florida. They have small pull tabs that make removal easier. The velcro closure is delicate and isn’t exactly lock-tight but it does stay closed. I wash them on delicate/hand wash after most rides and one of the gloves fell apart at one of the closures after three months of use. I was able to glue it back together and I bought them on sale for $16 so I’m not too upset. I’m 5’9” and 152 pounds with thin hands and the size medium was a perfect fit. If you can get them for $16 I would buy them, otherwise it’s not worth it.

    Poor quality, good feel

I like a glove that keeps me in touch with the bike--and for that this glove is terrific. Unfortunately the rubber separated from the velcro immediately, and I've had to superglue the gloves together. Will be fine for now.

    Poor quality but nice price

    Very poor quality
    Without gel on Palm hands
Y guess the utility life it's too short but for the price it's ok

    Decent Glove

Not a bad set of gloves. My only major complaint is that after 2 days of riding the rubber on the securing wrist strap separated from the velcro. I just cut it off and use the velcro part by itself. Works but is kind of annoying.

    good glove

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I got these to finally give riding with gloves a try. I've never been one to have uncomfortable hands on a ride and have always gone bare hand. I'm satisfied with this purchase. The gloves are very comfortable. They have minimal padding, but was still enough for me to need several miles to get accustomed to. Now I'm sure I'll be riding with them every time. Much more comfortable and better feel than bare hands. I was on the edge between sizes. I went with the smaller size and they fit great. They have good stretch to fit snug.

Edit- lowered rating as I'm having the same tear issues with the user below. Not a full year yet, but showing wear after 4 rides or so.

    Minor Problems

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small

Great gloves - they match my kit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. The main problem is that the stitching between the thumb and the top of the glove is already starting to show. I noticed this after my 4th ride with them - they're still fine but I'm worried about them possibly tearing in the future however. I got a Large even though the sizing chart recommends me as a Medium.
