Sorpasso RoS Knicker

Riders who enjoy a bit of crisp weather on the lower legs or don't like the feel of an ankle zipper will enjoy Castelli's Sorpasso RoS Knicker, which confidently braces against winter elements that would typically drive you to months on the indoor trainer. Designed for slightly warmer conditions that the Sorpoasso RoS Bib Tight, the Knicker still receives Castelli's familiar NanoFlex technology, now in its third generation, to boost water repellency while maintaining the breathability and warmth we've come to expect. As you're bent forward in the riding position, the anatomically mapped 3G paneling provides ample stretch to allow unrestricted movement at the knee and hip. Under heavy clouds and paceline wheel-spray, the Knicker sheds water with relative ease. Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric is sewn to the upper bib, thighs, and the rear of the legs, so you'll stay dry and maintain body heat to maximize winter performance.

The Sorpasso RoS uses Castelli's Progetto X2 Air seamless chamois, which is designed for peak comfort and performance during long winter base miles. Reflective panels are added to the rear, and the Knicker is rated for rides ranging from 50-61 degrees F.

Why Castelli Why!!!!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have the previous version of these with leg grippers at the bottom. Why would Castelli get rid of this feature is beyond me. These would be 5 stars and are perfect in every way except for the lack of the grippers at the bottom. The bottom portion now constantly rides up and bunches at the bend in the knee. Would not buy again unless they feature the grippers at the bottom. Note: I am 5'11 185lbs and XL fit perfect

Grippers aren't good

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

In addition to running small... the leg opening grippers don't get the job done... They ride up the calf and bunch behind the knee the longer you ride... I've ridden many different Castelli bibs and knickers and these are a disappointment.... Castelli should completely re-wowrk this product before next season.

Runs Way Small.. What the heck Castelli?

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
XL
Height:
6' 3"
Weight:
217

I didn't heed the only review that stated it ran small.... I've been riding Castelli Tutto Nano Knickers (on 2nd Pair) for Winter Commuting and riding Castelli Free Aero & Unlimited bibs for many years... I've always worn an XL on all three of these products. However this knicker is a joke on sizing.... I literally almost could not pull the XL over my quads!!! I'm a serious club cyclist and ride about 3,500 miles per year... Did Castelli decide to just make products for "chicken legged Fred posers"? Giving it a 1 star caused they really screwed this up.

Beware shiny material, and size up

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it
Size Bought:
Medium
Height:
5' 9"
Weight:
155

First: Size. I'm a medium in just about everything, but I just about needed lube to get these on. I would definitely size up. Then there's the shiny, 80's FlashBack material that Castelli uses in these. They are on alternating panels front and back, and am unsure if this is their waterproofing treatment or the material they chose to use for the non-waterproof sections.
