The Castelli Sorpasso RoS Bib Tight is designed to expertly satisfy winter riding comfort across beautiful winter landscapes in the rain or shine. Castelli's familiar NanoFlex technology boasts improved water repellency, allowing the Sorpasso RoS Bib Tight to shed water with relative ease while maintaining enhanced breathability and warmth. As you're in the riding position, the anatomically mapped 3G paneling provides ample stretch to allow unrestricted movement at the knee and hip. Extra insulation comes from Nano Flex Xtra Dry fabric, which is sewn to the upper front and thighs to maintain body heat to maximize winter performance.
The Sorpasso RoS Bib Tight uses Castelli's Progetto X2 Air seamless Donna chamois that is designed peak comfort and performance during long winter base miles. Reflective panels cover the calf zips for added security in low-light riding in the cold mornings, and the Sorpasso RoS is rated for rides ranging from 32-54 degrees F, which nets you four more degree resistance to the cold than does the bib-less Sorpasso design.

Great bibs!

I really loved these bibs overall; however I ordered a medium, based on the size chart and they were quite large overall, so they are enroute back to Backcountry. For reference, I am 5'4, 138 lbs, athletic build, with a long torso, and The chamois was HUGE and there was extra fabric everywhere, especially around the waist, thighs and chamois.

Love Love Love

This is my first pair of bibs, and I am very impressed at the quality and comfort. I normally would not spend this much, but it was worth every penny. Staying warm is worth the extra $$$. I ride in very cold and rainy conditions. I have worn these in the mid teens and I stayed warm. My rides are 19-22 miles per day. I have short legs, so the seam near the knee falls lower than it should, so I have to pull them up a bit, but they stay in place. The pad is supreme. I may see if they have shorts with that pad, it is amazing. I can handle the temps with these and water just beads off them. I highly recommend.

Warm and comfortable

These feel well-insulated and of quality construction. I've used them in temps ranging from 30-40 degrees Fahrenheit and they are warm enough on the warm up and cool down without feeling too hot while riding at intensity. I usually wear a size XS for Castelli and cycling gear in general and these in XS fit well. I'm just under 115 lb and 5'5". They are snug in the way cycling gear should be, and as referenced by a below review, the bib straps are a little tight at first, but not noticeable while riding. I also tried the size S and it felt a little loose around the waist. These are true to size and quite nice.

Comfy and Warm!

I'm very happy with these tights. They are comfy and soft, and they keep my legs nice and warm. I've worn them in temps down to the mid 30s. One thing to note: the length of the torso is a bit short. I am short-waisted and the straps fit snugly on me. If you have a long torso you might find these don't fit you very well.
