    Make a statement.

Rather than impulse-buying yourself an extremely expensive sports car, consider upgrading your cycling wardrobe first with a jersey that shares a name with your dream vehicle. Castelli's RS Superleggera Jersey makes a serious upgrade to kit, adding a dose of polished European style and featherweight functionality to your rides, all without emptying your wallet the way a sports car would.

Rather than classify the RS Superleggera as strictly a climber's jersey, Castelli readied it for training versatility and race-ready lightness, using impossibly light Futura fabric to achieve a form-fitting fit and fast moisture transfer away from your skin. The fabric's impressively soft too—not unlike the smooth leather interior of a sports car, if your mind's still there. Castelli didn't stop with Futura either, adding its 3D mesh and Stretch Woven fabrics to enhance fit and breathability, with Stretch Woven giving the Superleggera the jersey increased mobility and 3D mesh adding ventilation across the back and sides to keep you cool on midsummer rides.

Castelli took the name of the Superleggera seriously, constructing it with all of the luxurious details befitting of a jersey first conceived in the Alps and named for a high-speed car. It used bonded no-sew seaming to achieve impossibly smooth waist and sleeve hems, and included elastic along the waistband to hold the jersey in-place when you're standing on a climb. Three standard and a single zippered rear pocket give you space to store bonk-preventing nutrition, while a neck-saving zipper flap saves you from long-ride chafing. In case you're out past sunset, the jersey's reflective accents will keep you visible to other motorists, and the entire jersey employs the standard Castelli fit: tight across the chest while standing and contoured in the saddle.

    • Lightweight jersey for everyday rides in the alps
    • Breathable fabric wicks away sweat and breathes
    • Packed with pro technology, cut for every day cruises
    • Stash your nutrition and tools in three deep pockets
    • Zippered stash pocket keeps valuables secure
    • No-sew lie flat seams prevent chaffing and boost elegance
    • Reflective accents help you stay visible in low light

    Excellent

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Exchange for Large
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 145lbs

I’m a true medium in Castelli. But not this item. It dose run small. Very small. I can’t stand having to exchange or return product. But Greg in c.s. Made it easy. Your awesome sir!!! The large fits perfect. 5’9 and 145 lbs if that. If your arms are muscular, this might not work for you. It’s a little tight in the right arm band on me but not a problem. I know Castelli make there products in different parts of the world. This came, made in usa. It’s a killer summer top. I’ll be wearing it a lot this summer.

    Very small even XXXL

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XXXL
    • Height: 6'

Probably good if you are very skinny person, but not best jersey even it fit. Returned.

    Fantastic deal on sale.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Medium
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 152lbs

This is a superb, very light, amateur race jersey that says "I'm not here to twaddle about". Extra zippered pocket is welcome. Worth the MSRP; a bargain on sale. My most-Type-A riding buddies ask me what it is and where I got it.
As mentioned, _runs small_. Not just Euro-small, but maybe a half-size smaller than that.
Mine fits like a second skin; it's fantastic for long hot days.

    Best Jersey ever purchased.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 165lbs

Most comfortable Jersey. The sleeves are paper thin and the material is super soft and doesn't cause any irritation. Fits small so order a size up. I usually go with a Medium and fit into the Large.

    Nice materials, too large

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 128lbs

Nice materials, but in the end, it was just way too big for me.

    Like Butter

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: X-Large
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 167lbs

Wanted to thank the other reviewers for their input. In Castelli, I wear L but going off the input went with XL. It was spot on.

Only worn once and this is a great jersey. The length is just right, falls above my waistline. It feels really good against the skin, no hot spots/irritation. I ordered the ruby red and it's beautiful color, I am calling it "testarossa"

Agree, anyone with Med-Large upper arms will have issues with the tight arm bands. It works on me and had just enough give for arm warmers.

    Sublime

    • Fit: Runs small

Part of Castelli's top-of-the-line Rosso Corsa (race) line. If it fits you right (you gotta be pretty fit)... this is one of the finest cycling jerseys made period.

Made with a lot of attention to detail, this is Assos-caliber sophistication of materials and design. But better looks.

Superlegerra means "superlight" in Italian. So the textile used here in the body is a light, soft, fine lycra. And very breathable. With stealthy black mesh sides.

The "Futura" main-body material may be a little delicate -time will tell. I doubt this will be your workhorse summer jersey. Perhaps reserved for more special rides?

Looks great in every color: All black, Testarossa red, or Bianchi celeste.

Fit: Classic Castelli (Italian) sizing. Size up +1 from your normal street size.

***Caveat: The "no sew" arm band is narrow and does not expand much. It will definitely cause constriction (and sausage arm) on guys who are overweight (sorry). This particular Castelli jersey is definitely best suited for fit riders.

    Made in USA

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'9"
    • Weight: 160lbs

It's a beautiful jersey. Super soft material, race cut, very sleek and professional looking.

I normally wear a medium, a large in Castelli, but I might wear an XL in this. No seams on the sleeves which was very cool but the fabric on the ends of the sleeves was tight and giving me sausage arms, so maybe the jersey is more for pure cyclists and not triathletes : ) Returning it but I wanted to highlight a review below that this product is made in the USA, which is very cool.

    Runs VERY Small

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small

This is a nice jersey. Unfortunately, it runs way smaller than even the normal Castelli's. I'm muscular and lean and wear an XL jersey for most brands and a XXL in Castelli. I recently purchased this jersey in a XXL and it was two sizes too small... at least. I couldn't even get my arm through. Very disappointing

    Unbelievable

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small

This is one of the nicest jerseys that I've ever put my hands on. The fabric's feel is so much softer and smoother than anything else I've tried. Be warned that the fit is very, very race, though.
