    Italian flair for your feet.

Rosso Corsa is Castelli’s designation for its best gear, and the Rosso Corsa 6 Sock is the shortest in the Italian brand's superlative line. The Rossa Corsa is woven with Meryl Skinlife fibers to fight odors, and the top of the foot is an open mesh to keep you as cool as possible. In the arch, Castelli wove a high-density band into the sock that holds the sock firmly in place while you ride. The sock also has a flat seam and the cuff is folded over to prevent slipping.

    • A competition cycling sock for happy feet
    • Meryl Skinlife fibers keep you cool and fresh
    • Mesh top for added ventilation
    • High-density arch band adds support and reduces slipping
    • A flat seam and folded cuff ensure fit at either end

Light and fit well, not good quality

    • Fit: True to size

After the first use these seemed pretty good. Felt light, breathable and fit well. My disappointment came after washing them (maybe I shouldn't have put them on the washing machine). The started to come off on the inside. Maybe is not too bad and I'm pretty sure I'll keep using them, but I had very high expectations from Castelli

    Great Socks!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

These are my favorite socks, they are very thin and breathable. I use them for everything from biking, running, hiking and even wear them at work. They don't have much cushioning, but that is another thing I like about them; they are low profile and keep my feet cool.

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XXL

Bought XXL for my 12.5 foot. Great fit. Very light and breathable. Looks very cool. Easily the best athletic socks I've ever bought. I can't fit into Castelli clothes, but their socks serve me very well.

    Blazingly fast footcoverings

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XL

Without a doubt the most amazing socks I've ever worn. I've moved from Cat 4 to Cat 1 in only 5 weeks, my power-to-weight ration went to 5.8:1, and my thinning hair is looking fuller and more luxurious. The only knock is that I believe I may possibly be in violation of Rule #27 of the Velominati ( ) governing sock height. I can only give 4 stars, as they are not carbon fiber, and the red is not precisely the same red as on my Rossa shorts.

These socks are very soft, confortable if I could afford them I would where them as my everyday. I have been biking in them for down hill and cross country and in clipless and five tens. They never fail me. By the way the coloring of the fluorescent yellow socks is awesome! I have had two pairs for about 6 months now and they still look brand new! May get the longer version of the sock very soon. If so stay tuned for another review!

    P.S. I wear a size 8 in women's and th S/M fits perfectly!

    Love these socks!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I never imagined socks could improve a ride so much. I bought one pair of these on sale. Liked them so much I bought two more. I am size 9.5-10 U.S. and the L/XL is a perfect fit. Very comfortable for riding in warm/hot weather. If it's cool/cold get the wool socks.

I bought a pair of Castelli Garmin Team socks and said in my review I would buy them all over again even in plain white. Well, here they are and available in white, black and red. They fit great, have a porous panel on top of foot for cooling, and wick moisture away from skin very nicely. These are the 6 cm which is the height cuff I like-don't like the 'footies' and don't like the high tops. I wear a 45 shoe and the L/XL fits perfectly.

    Arrived in poor condition

I'm not sure who's to blame but the socks I ordered were clearly used. There was a gash down the heel side, defined sweat stains on the soles, and severe damage to the elastic. What's worse is that I paid more for the shipping than the actual sock cost me, then an additional $7 to send it back, so in the end a single pair of socks cost me about $25. Realcyclist lost some points in my book on this one.

Wonder if they were returned by someone else previously??? Someone else suggested that before...but if they have the tags on them, I doubt it.

You're right about having to pay the return shipping for defective product...I've had this happen, too...

Am I reading the sizing right? If I wear a US size 9 shoe then does that mean size L/XL?

I'm a US 9.5/10, I bought the L/XL and the heel cup marking (where sock is different color at heel) ends up covering my Achilles tendon when pulled up tight enough to prevent bunching around my toes. I bought the Medium and had a perfect fit.
Castelli is bizarre fit wise. Socks are typically much larger and shorts/jerseys much smaller. I'm a huge Castelli fan, just takes trial and error trying to get the best fit. Don't get me started on the way Castelli full zip jerseys vs. 1/2 zip jerseys fit....

This looks like a really nice sock like I need. But I'm a big guy and usually wear out the heel. Anyone know these socks can handle heavy?

These are probably not what you are looking for. These are very lightweight socks, the fabric on the heal is very thin and other parts of the sock are even web-like. I tend to have the best luck with a standard athletic sock and reserve socks like these to killer hot days.
