Gregge 15 Sock

Your rides run the gauntlet from too warm to too cold, and you don't shy away from your bike because of a little drizzle. The Castelli Gregge 15 Sock is constructed of a merino wool blend that naturally regulates temperature and manages moisture—standing up to both perspiration and precipitation. The blend is soft and flexible, and it's constructed with a reinforced toe and heel for extra durability. A thicker footbed cushions your foot against the stiffness of your shoe and improves warmth retention to minimize chills.

Awesome

Fit:
Runs small

Castelli socks are iconic in the cycling world. Made in Italy, these socks are a work of art. The quality is 10 out of 10. I own several pairs of Gregge 15 and Castelli Quindici (15) wool socks. Love them both. The only difference I can tell is that the color schemes are different. Castelli officially rates them both for use in 60° F down to freezing weather (with shoe covers!). Sizing: The sizing chart at the official Castelli website is correct. Cycling shoe size: 36-39 = S/M Cycling shoe size: 40-43 = L/XL Cycling shoe size: 44-47 = 2XL I wear a 45 in Shimano. The 2XL fit perfect -especially after a few washings (wool does shrink a little). If you wear a size 45+ cycling shoe, definitely buy the 2XL.

Nice sock for colder weather

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

True to size

I bought these socks when I was buying several pairs at the begining of the riding season. These are great, a little on the thicker side so I like them on cooler days. Stay up well and super comfortable.
