Castelli proves that less sometimes really is more with its #Giro102 Glove. Inspired by the upcoming Italian Grand Tour, these gloves are minimal yet give you just enough light padding to add comfort on long rides over rougher roads. Thankfully it's not enough to detract from that all-important road feel, and the synthetic palm helps to save your hands if you do happen to touch the tarmac. This pull-on glove doesn't get noticed too much on the ride, other than the printed Giro graphics on the mesh back. Returning features include a microsuede nose wipe on the thumb and pull off tabs that make it easy to pull the gloves off after your ride is over.
The #Giro102 Glove comes in 6 sizes from X-Small through XX-Large and in the colors Ciclamino, Rosa Giro, Azzurro, and Nero.
- Castelli's lightweight short-finger gloves, inspired by the Giro

- Microsuede nose wipe offers a soft clean up

Get the size right!
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: Large
- Height: 6'
- Weight: 174lbs
OK. These are great summer, every-day gloves IF YOU GET THE SIZE RIGHT. Ignore what the previous reviewer said. The Castelli sizing guide is NOT correct for these gloves. I bought ended up with one size above the sizing guide and they're still squeeze-tight to get into. But two sizes up, my people. Typical Castelli. My hands are 21.5 cm around and so I ordered a Medium. Not even remotely close. So I sent them back and got a Large. Still too small but didn't want to send another one back. XL would have been right, I suspect. Sizing guide is just plain wrong! I don't mind that Castelli sizes are Italian-insane, but at least get the sizing guide in the ballpark! Love Competitive Cyclist and love Castelli, but even I have my limits!!
Best Gloves -- Velcro free at last!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These are my new fave gloves above 50 deg F. I hate hate hate velcro at/on the wrist (snags everything), and (finally) these have NO velcro! Padding is spot on (location and thickness), thick enough to do the trick but not too thick to mess with your ride. I rode 50 miles mixed road/gravel in one ride and it does help w/ the fatigue (but it doesn't eliminate it 100%).
Tip: Get the size right -- measure per the Castelli instructions
