    Comfortable training miles.

Don't get us wrong, we like race fit, and Castelli's super-streamlined RS Superleggera jersey is our go-to when we're running lean and mean and looking to rock a body-hugging kit to get a few extra aero watts at a summer event. But it's been a long winter of hearty, comforting food choices and holiday snacking, and the idea of squishing ourselves into second-skin fitting kit just isn't very motivating. Thankfully, we have a Castelli Men's Forza Pro Jersey in the cycling kit cubby, harnessing the lightweight comfort and high-tech fabrics we love about the decidedly summery Superleggera, just with a more comfortably forgiving profile.

Castelli strove to make this jersey as light as possible while giving it enough versatility to avoid strictly being classified as a climber's jersey. To do this, the company constructs the body and sleeves with its Launch Prosecco fabric, a stretchy synthetic that adeptly draws moisture away from your body as you ride. Mesh fabric inserts along the side panels further add to the jersey's breathability, facilitating airflow as you tackle steep, slow ascents when the breeze stands still.

    • A cycling jersey for dedicated training and lux recreation
    • Blends pro-level fabrics with a more forgiving fit
    • Lightweight fabrics wick moisture and dry quickly
    • Full-length zipper provides extra ventilation options
    • Rear pockets securely stow small essentials
    • Item #CST00G2

Order this jersey at least 2 sizes up

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: XL
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 210lbs

I ordered the X-Large jersey and it was extremely small and short. I'd place the sizing of this XL jersey to the same as a Small or maybe Medium Pearl Izumi jersey.
That said- the material and workmanship are great. I really wish Castelli sizing was more in line with other manufacturers.

    Love this jersey!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'3"
    • Weight: 165lbs

Last season (2016), I purchased my first Castelli jersey and bib shorts... the Inferno. I was a Gore customer for several years prior and both the Inferno bib shorts and jersey were a huge disappointment for me. First, the Inferno jersey and bib shorts were a bit odd in sizing. The jersey was cut a bit boxy and the shorts seemed a bit short. When riding, I would see more of my upper thigh area than I liked. The jersey material wasn't my favorite, either, especially after being used to a very thin and super-stretchy material that my Gore jersey was made of. For the price increase and the very odd sizing issues with Castelli, I almost wrote them off completely.

The other day, I was reading the description of this jersey (Forza) and it referenced that it is made of a "stretchy synthetic" material. I took a chance thinking it might be like my Gore jersey and ordered one medium and one large. The medium was just a bit too tight and a little short but the large fit me perfectly! I'm 6'3" and 165lbs. for reference.

The material is just what I was looking for, too! Thin, stretchy, and light. I wasn't fond of the the longer than usual short sleeves, but I actually grew to like them considerably! The metal-like "Castelli" logo on the right arm sleeve is a nice touch that I happen to appreciate, too.

I paired this jersey with the Velocissimo shorts which also have become my new favorite. Very pleased with these Castelli purchases!

    Fly Weight

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 170lbs

I've been riding in this jersey as a fair weather go to and really enjoy the overall performance of it. The material is super light and silky for a near jersey-less experience. Fit is roomier than other Castelli jerseys and tops, being described as "regular" fit. I personally like a closer fit around the torso, as this is a bit more blouse like in the mid section, perhaps a smaller size would have worked, but the shoulder and arms fit is spot on in a size Large.
Vertical zippered pocket on the right rear external pocket is a nice touch to stow valuables.
Without a base layer, this is a great summer jersey and with broadens the temp range down into the 60's.

    Amazingly Breathable and Light

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small

I love this Jersey, it became my new favorite in just one ride. The material is incredibly soft, light and pretty thin. It breathes better than any Jersey I have owned in the past and does an amazing job at moving sweat away from my body. The cuffs on the sleeves are not too tight either, I was worried because they are a little compressing, but were absolutely wonderful.

Typical Castelli sizing, so if you are coming from another brand, size up one. The fit is form fitting, even when you size up one, that is just how it is meant to be worn.

Other brands I have worn and how the sizes stack up?
Capo (XL), Pearl Izumi (M in low end L in high end), Twin Six (L), Specialized (L), Bontrager (L), Giordana (XL), Assos (XL) and in this Castelli (XL).
