Entrata Bib Short

The Entrata bibs combine breathability, moisture management, slight compression, and a comfortable chamois into one pair of shorts that just works. Castelli's 8-panel construction ensures a perfect anatomical fit, while the GIRO3 leg gripper keeps the shorts in place without any unpleasant pinching. What's truly impressive is they can be had for less than the price of a decent helmet, a low-end jersey, or a pair of bargain cycling shoes.

  • Performance meets value with these cycling bibs
  • Pro Dry Lycra offers good compression and moisture management
  • 8-panel construction contours the body perfectly
  • Kiss Air2 chamois cushions and supports your sit bones
  • Leg gripper holds the shorts in place without pinching
  • Mesh bib straps for comfort and breathability
  • Stitched logos and reflective panel won't peel off over time
  • Item #CSTZ7B3

Solid First Bib

I've put it through the wringer

I bought a pair of these bibs in June and have worn them everyday that I ride (5/6 times a week). They have held up very well through almost 3,000 miles and constant washing. I initially bought them because they were a fair price and wanted a pair of bibs. Will be buying more of the exact same ones.

GREAT STYLE, leg grippers are PERFECT...I got a medium and I'm 5'9 155 lbs or so, not tall by any means but the shoulder straps are tight on me and sort of wedge the chamois to me, which I think makes it less effective. They're still pretty decent bibs, especially for the money, but I feel like Giordana makes better chamois, they just fall short in the leg opening dept.

Don’t appear to be long enough when you look at the leg length; however when worn length is good with tight fitting but not restrictive leg bands. 5’9” 142lbs 30” waist. Glad I purchased medium.

I’ve had bad luck with Castelli bibs in the past mainly due to quality issues. It seems like they’ve fixed many of my gripes when it comes to these Bibs. Quality construction and materials, and the chamois is one of the best I’ve ever used. Fit is small, I recommend sizing up at least one size especially if you have wider thighs.

I usually wear an L in most brands so I took the advice of other reviews and sized up to an XL. I think I could have gone up to an XXL because it is snug. Otherwise great quality.

I bought two bib shorts -- one Sugoi and the other was this -- both size medium (I'm 5'6"/140#). The Sugoi fit like a glove. This Castelli fits like OJ's glove. I swear I'll need at least a large. When I get the right size they might be great, but it sucks to have to return something as soon as it arrives.

This is only my 3rd pair of Castelli bibs, but I'm very impressed by what is deemed an entry/mid-level bib. I have a pair of Cento, and Nanoflex bibs. This pair fits in the middle of those with regards to comfort. They hold my stuff in place, pad is just right, and the fit/finish/feel is nice. The thigh reflector/logos are nice in comparison to the iron-ons found on cheaper bibs. The straps and compression are also just right for me. You may have to hit and miss with sizing. I think I have mine down after 6 Castelli items. With the matching jersey, I feel nearly naked in a good way. I'm ready to buy the better offerings.

All the way

Fit:

These are a entry level bib shorts BUT they're Castelli entry level bib shorts, which means they are quality. The leg grip is comfortable and stays in place without grabbing at your skin. The chamois is basic but has kept me comfortable in the saddle for endurance rides. And I love the way they look. My only complaint is the straps. I wish they bunch up over my shoulders. Castelli offers killer higher end shorts for more serious riders, but I would highly recommend these for intermediate and beginner riders who aren't looking to get into cycling half way. These shorts will carry you through your first long rides and events like Fondos, and group centuries.
