    SO warm!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS

This coat is TOASTY. Perfect for errands out and about on any frosty day. Pockets are diviiiiine, so soft inside. Easy to tuck away just in case. Despite being 750 fill, it packs down quite small and would fit easily inside a large purse or tote (you know you have one!).

Handles snow, wind and light rain just fine.

FIT: I have an xs small waist, but am not lacking in the hip area. The XS, when zippered all the way to the bottom was a little more snug that I would have liked for the pace I usually set when I'm walking around. BUT I had the option to zipper up (from the bottom) an inch or two to give me all of the mobility I needed.

The midsection isn't quite as fitted as the image appears on the site, but then again - I like it cinched pretty tight.

Overall, this jacket is beautiful - but isn't too fashionable to be lacking in functionality. Super warm without being bulky. And cruelty-free down - MAJOR plus.

    SO warm!

I have been wearing my Davos jacket since it started getting colder and I have gotten so many complements on it! I absolutely am loving it, and am so happy with my purchase for so many reasons .:.

This jacket is seriously the most comfortable jacket I own, and I think my favorite part is the fleece lined hood. Its so stylish and so soft! The way it puffs up around your neck almost works as if you are wearing a scarf, too. All the puff jackets I have are more of an outdoor style so this jacket was a great addition for the city life. I wear it to work or out to dinner, or on adventures (like going to the vineyards).

Living in Seattle it get pretty cold, and is usually always wet... all the time. The rain though isn't always a heavy rain, its more like a misty rain... so wearing a rain jacket is just a nuisance but when your clothes get wet its even more annoying. Finding the perfect amount of water resistant is key, and this jacket is just that. In the picture I posted with this it was actually raining, and the Davos held her ground! A perfectly balanced coat.

This is also a super super warm jacket. 750 goose-down fill is pretty much the best quality of warmth in a coat you can get, and the Davos does not disappoint. I wore my jacket in -20 degrees (Jackson Hole, WY) and didn't feel a nip of cold. But at the same time I wore it in about 50 degrees and wasn't too hot either. Its pretty versatile.

In addition to the super warm amazing goose-filled down, the incredibly soft fabric, super comfortable fleece-lined hood, and the water resistant part, it also has the BEST pockets! Front pockets for storage and nice warm (and deep) hand pockets.

It gets even better! The zipper zips from the top down, and also from the bottom up (there are two zippers). So when you are walking if you are taking longer strides, or even just sitting down you can stay zipped but open it a bit at the bottom for perfectly comfortable movability. You never feel constrained like some other long jackets. Its just amazing.

So as I just mentioned the zipper allows for adjustable tightness, so you can keep it zipped up only wherever you want to (which is super nice). The overall fit is pretty true to size. I got a small and it fits just the perfect amount of snug... and since its a down it seems to have a good amount of room for other garments under, too. Its pretty flexible in terms of movement too, the seems are soft and I have a good range of motion.

Also, a thing with women and long puffy jackets is that they can make you look fat, but this one has a fitted waist so that is never an issue :) So happy!

So Im a klutz. Most of my jackets will get stained the first time I wear them and I don't know how it happens. But this jacket is virtually stain proof! The outside of it is water resistant which helps, but its also just a really slick material so when I backed into someone in the tasting room and some of their red wine spilled down my back, I just wiped it off and went on my way! It felt so great to not have to worry! Mud, wine, food... you name it... just wipes right off.

Also for traveling this jacket condenses very small since its down, so even though its puffy and big it still can fit in that suitcase and not take up too much room!

The only thing is that the external material is a bit thin and can puncture easily, so just be cautious if you walk through trees or are around any sharp objects. Me being the klutz I am I really have to think about this lol but for most people I doubt it would ever be an issue.
