Awesome paddle!

I've used it several times

Does a great job paddling, at a great value! I got the "Sunrise" color, and I really like how it looks. Exactly what I wanted out of a paddle for my kayak, couldn't be happier with it!

Great economic paddle

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought this for my niece and it has worked out well for her! A good solid, lightweight paddle.

solid economical paddle

For the money a tough paddle to beat, good all purpose paddle, like the look, style and productivity of the Carlisle paddle

Light and Lean

I've put it through the wringer

I am a 5'10" female, and I got the 230cm size. It has done everything I've asked of it and more--not sure I would notice a difference with a more expensive paddle. Aluminum works just fine for me, and the no-slip grip finish in the handhold area is just enough to keep my wet hands from sliding around. I would definitely recommend this to any beginner/intermediate users who don't feel like spending a bundle.

Great paddle

I've used it several times

This paddle does great on open lakes and on the river. Very lightweight and functional. My entire family of four has the same paddle and it does well for everyone

Nice paddle for the price!

I've used it several times

I have 2 kayaks and bought this one for my second kayak. Have used it several times and it has held up well. For the price, it is a really nice paddle and seems durable & fairly light weight. I got the limon and love the color since it matches my yak! :)

Quality Budget Paddle

I picked up a pair of theses for my spare kayaks when we take friends and family along. I used it myself the first trip out and they held up great. I couldnt tell any difference between it and my carbon paddle. Sturdy and smooth in the water. Great paddle for the price.

What size should I get?

Hi Marla, Sizing depends on your height, and the width of the vessel you'd be using it with. Here's a link from Carlisle's site for sizing

is this paddle a two piece or one piece

Hey Jerry, Its a two piece paddle, that locks with a metal snap button in one of three spots: center, left feather, and right feather. Hopefully that helps you out!

Are these paddle good to be used in the...

Are these paddle good to be used in the ocean ?

These paddles are a great intro paddle. Cheap, and they get the job done. They will do just fine in the saltwater, but as with any gear used in the saltiness, it should get a good freshwater bath afterwards. If not, the paddle will end up corroding on the inside because of the salt and will never feather, un-feather, or come apart again- without serious force. Great paddle, good for what you want it for, just make sure you rinse it!
