Bought this to replace my father's old one and he, of course, LOVES it.

There really is no compromising on Carhartt when working outside in inclimate conditions! Style and function all in one!

    Great Working Jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I purchased this jacket as a Christmas present for my husband, I gave it to him a little early! He loves it! He uses it when we take the dogs to the park and when he works on his car. It's a great color, durable material and loose for lots of movement.

Very warm. Very durable. I love Carhartt because of the great quality of their products.
I had wanted this jacket for a long time and I am glad I bought it because it is so comfortable. It will be the only jacket I wear this Winter.

    Bomb proof.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

    • Size Bought: Medium

Like all Carhartt products, this jacket will last. I took over my father's Carhatt jacket after my older brother grew out of it... aka, these things last. After I grew out of that jacket, I bought this one and I love it. If you're looking for a tough jacket for just about any occasion minus a black tie event, buy a Carhartt.

    Bring it on winter!

Everyone else has said but yes this is one durable, tough jacket. You won't hesitate to get to work outside wearing this thing in cole weather. I will always appreciate Carhartt's products and this jacket will be with me for a long long time!

    This is a tough jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This jacket is super warm and rugged, will last a lifetime. Only complaint is that this jacket is cut pretty short in the body. I am always on the border between medium and large for jackets, would definitely recommend sizing up for this one.

    Rugged, Heavy Coat

I have yet to find/hear of a brand that offers more durable apparel than Carhartt. Here in the NW, at least, it's the brand to beat in terms of bang-for-the-buck everyday work-horse clothing.

    Favorite warm jacket

    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Small

This thing keeps me toasty down into the single digits, great for motorbike rides when the temps dip into the 20-30's too. And it's built to last, I'm far from gentle with it and it shows no sign of wear, just dirt and oil (which is how these jackets should look!).

Putting it though the wringer is an understatement. Been wearing this jacket this winter under cars and cold cement on days ranging from -5 to 30 degrees. Pretty much got every kind of automotive oil and grease on this and it washes right out. It fits a little wide for me but who cares, keeps me warm and its burly.

A comfortable jacket, but don't know if I'll be keeping it due to the color received. Thought I bought the light brown but received one that looks more green in color. It could be an image issue. But if you're looking for a comfortable jacket that is durable and will keep you warm, Carhartt is the way to go.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend this year and he could not have been happier. This jacket is super warm and durable, but not bulky. Great for casual wear or going on cold hikes or strolls.

    Carhartt's the best

I have three carhartt jackets and this is one of the better. I climb wind turbines at - 30F layering this as the outer layer.

Bought this jacket for my boyfriend and he loves it. Says it's the best jacket he's ever owned. He noted that it felt a little small at first but that it just needed to be broken in. "The only thing that will outlast the durability of this jacket is it's inability to go out of style." He's cheesy, but he's not wrong.
