    The Equalizer Snowboard

The Capita Equalizer snowboard is a high performance all-mountain freeride deck ready to tackle steep chutes and rip the whole mountain. Designed by team rider Jess Kimura, this board has accompanied her through her progression from the streets to high mountain peaks. With the Equalizer, the custom design for women pushes you to make you a better snowboarder, regardless of the terrain or conditions.

Coming with a medium flex, the Equalizer is ready to tackle challenging terrain while still calling for a surfy feel on wide open, powdery runs. The Alpine V1 Profile combines a large camber section that runs 5cm past the inserts for power and control, with a flat zone behind the back foot to offer stability on landings. A large rockered nose and rockered tail provides float and makes it easier to transition between variable snow conditions. The durable and lightweight ashwood and poplar core includes two Technora and flax boosters to offer pop and response for boosting sidehits and linking carves. To top it all off, the new Quantum Drive sintered base keeps you speeding through powder or spring slush while adding durability to keep your board in good shape all season long.

    Badass board for badasses

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I tried this board out at the end of the 18-19 season and I can’t stop thinking about it. This thing RIPS!! It truly is a board for the lady that wants to ride everything on the mountain. The first time I rode this board, it was a shitty, flat-light, hard snow day at Copper Mountain but this board CRUSHED it and I couldn’t stop smiling. I went SO fast on this thing, I was surprised. It went from the smooth groomers to the hard, choppy stuff without skipping a beat and never felt sketchy.

I rode another day at Loveland and it was definitely variable conditions; some slush, some creamy leftover May powder higher up, and some hard snow in spots. I had so much freaking fun launching this thing off the natural features and it rode SO nice in the cream and everywhere else. This is my favorite all-mountain board for sure.

I am 5’2, 120lbs, and I rode the 150. I plan to get the 146. I am SO excited for this upcoming season on this badass board!
