    Spring Break Slush Slasher Snowboard

The Capita Spring Break Slush Slasher Snowboard is a carving, pow slashing, and mini jib machine that's been loved by snowboarders since it's release a few years ago. Breaking the norm from twin snowboard shapes that we've come to know, the short length and extra wide waist can be sized down significantly to snap turns quickly while still having the same stability and float from a board your normal size. While other short-boards are stuffed with tech and therefore can be pricey, the Slush Slasher balances high-tech materials with a price point that everyone can enjoy on powder or slush days alike, making it a staple in everyone's quiver.

With a medium flex for a mix of playfulness and response, the Slush Slasher retains a surfy feel anywhere on the mountain while still reacting quickly for powdery tree riding or quick spins off rails. The flat midsection provides a predictable ride and response, while an uplifted Wah-Pow! nose and rockered tail keeps you afloat through deep snow and chunder. A lightweight and poppy FSC-certified Select Core is made from sustainably-harvested poplar trees, and a new Superdrive EX base blends the line between low-maintenance extruded bases and high-performing, durable sintered bases through revolutionary production techniques. To make things interesting, an alloy skid plate on the V-shaped tail can make sparks when dragging your tail across rocks or other jib features you set your creative mind to.

    PArty Board

Had a 151 and yes it’s a party board. Super fun to slash, rail and even cruise through the park. I rode this board in all conditions before hitting a rock and breaking the sidewall. I woulda preferred that it could have handled that a little better. yes, the rock was my fault but it’s not my first rodeo. I’ve bit plenty of rocks with plenty of snowboards and will continue to do so. But this thing crumbled with one ding. Other than that I had no complaints. The board is affordable and fun.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is not just a fun board in the pow. The Slush Slasher has a ton of effective edge so it rails turns and is way more stable then you would give it credit for. I've ridden this board on some good pow days and I liked the short size in the trees. You can really weave thru tight zones. I've also chased my friends all over the mountain on this board in the spring and had fun going thru the park and rallying with the crew.
