    Jibbing dreams do come true.

Based on Capita's best-selling men's Horrorscope, the Women's Space Metal Fantasy FK Snowboard is a jib girl's best friend. It has a buttery flex, forgiving profile, and twin shape to help you step up your freestyle game whether you're lapping the park or throwing down in the streets. The rockered portion extends from under the bindings out to the tips, giving it a loose, catch-free feel that's a blast to jib with, while a flat section between the inserts makes it stable enough to take through the jump line and stomp urban drops.

Form 6 biax glass gives it smooth, forgiving flex for easy turn initiation and tweaked butters and presses. Blunted tips reduce swing weight and allow you to ride a slightly shorter length than before. New this season is a RFS Sustainable Select core that increases strength and pop, yet still provides a smooth flex for tweaked presses. It's finished off with an HMC extruded base that's harder and tougher than standard extruded bases, and is still just as easy to repair after you ding it up.

    • Medium-soft flexing park board for endless, jib-tastic fun
    • Twin shape and Urban rockered hybrid profile boosts freestyle ability
    • RFS Sustainable Select core reduces weight while staying strong
    • Form 6 biax glass wrap makes for easy turn initiation
    • Extruded base withstands seasons of abuse

    This board rocks!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This board is so fun, I've used it on pow days and park days alike and it rips! Capita's women's boards are in the top of my preferred rides and this board is probably top 3 I've ever ridden! grabbed it at the end of the season so sadly didn't get as many days in as I'd hoped but will be ready to rip next winter!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have both the Birds of Feather 140cm and the Space Metal Fantasy 141cm and both are great boards in their own right. I am 5'2 and 115lbs by the way.

I like to ride around the mountain as well as take park laps. The Space Metal Fantasy has been GREAT for that... I love the flat technology, the snowboard feels broken in and really mellow & fun to ride on. It's super playful and still stable when I go fast. The Space Metal feels like a looser ride compared to the Birds of Feather, which has a better edge hold.

I think the Space Metal is really fun to ride in powder and I've been using that a lot more lately than the Birds of Feather in powder. Floats well for a small board!

I love this board and I recommend it especially if you like park laps as well as riding all over the mountain!

    Great for jibbing

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I am 5'5, 135lbs and ride size 145. I absolutely love how this board rides, and I just placed an order for my second Space Metal Fantasy this season but there are cons to this board. Let me explain:

The extruded base sheet is pretty good quality, I am an intermediate rider who spends most of their time in the park hitting rails and this board is amazing for that purpose. The rocker contour allows you to re-adjust last minute when hitting a feature but the flat kick (the board is flat in between the bindings) locks in on the feature nicely and allows you to charge down groomers while remaining stable. I can be pretty rough with my gear sometimes and the base still looks great.

HOWEVER, the top sheet is very cheaply made. In fact, it started to chip around the edges from the very first day I started riding and I wasn't even hitting jibs that day, which wasn't a big deal to me because it doesn't affect my riding.
The flat kick rocker also floats nicely in powder. I paired it up with a pair of Union Trilogy bindings and I was flying through the trees.
This board however, doesn't perform too well in moguls or chopped up and bumpy runs as it is softer. You have to do lots of leg work.

tl;dr if you are an all mountain rider then you should look at other boards (Birds of a Feather is great one), but if you love jibbing and park and medium sized jumps (~30ft) then this is a good choice. It also performs great in powder if you don't want a dedicated powder board.

    Great for jibbing

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought this board for my sister for Christmas and she loves it. She lives in Michigan so she mostly rides park, which the board is really made for.
