    Scott Stevens Pro Model Snowboard

The Capita Scott Stevens Pro Snowboard is loose and forgiving, yet poppy and smooth-flexing, to give it the versatility needed to handle everything from micro-jibs and urban rails to park jumps and slushy side hits. The Park V2 profile is mostly flat to give it a stable feel, with rocker at the tips for catch-free forgiveness that lets you get loose from the slopes to the streets. This board has a smooth medium flex that presses like a dream, but still offers enough response to rip around the mountain outside of the park lanes. Holysheet fiberglass is more powerful and dynamic than standard glass layups, and the Magic Bean resin holding it together is eco-friendlier to boot.

Originating from hardened lava, basalt beams improve pop and response while also dampening the ride. Additionally, the beams are pre-cured in an arched shape that counters the board's profile for a pre-loaded effect that offers twice the pop and response. Starting with a lightweight, yet strong blend of poplar and paulownia woods, the Cork Inlayed Pro core also features natural cork recessed into 30% of the core for a smoother ride and improved durability. Cork is also placed around the edges to enhance impact-resistance so the board can take more of a beating from bashed rails and bonked trees. It's finished with a smooth-gliding, tough-as-nails Quantumdrive base to keep it flying around the resort and taking hit after hit.

    right tool for the job

Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I was at summer camp this July and Scott was there. They were demoing his board since he was cruising with the campers all week. I usually ride a camber heavy, directional snowboard. I don't really ride park much, I used to, but those days are a long time ago. I must say, I was so impressed by the way this soft twin tip park board handled it's self. This board was so maneuverable thru the soft snow and jib lines. I had way more fun riding at camp the days I rode this board. Thanks Scott!

Makes you as good as Scott Stevens

    Familiarity:I've used it several times

Ok maybe not, but its a step in the right direction! Scott's board is based on the Ultrafear, but has more traditional nose and tail shapes. The biggest difference with Scotts board is all the Cork its loaded up with inside the core. This makes it super damp and a lot more comfortable jibbing and bonking everything in your way. The cork on the edges also helps absorb kinks in rails so you are less likely to catch an edge and eat shit. The SS pro was also the most demo'd board at Woodward copper summer camp out of all the other Capita boards. Basically this board is fun, playful, catch free, and durable, everything you want for shredding outside the box like Scott.
