Go to your happy place.
Despite what the name may imply, this board was not built for taking it easy. Designed to deliver freestyle bliss for riders who treat the entire mountain like a terrain park, the Capita Women's Paradise Snowboard is a true twin with a freeride-oriented feel. That means you can go from cruising jumps in the park to charging down steeps and railing carves without skipping a beat.
Camber from insert to insert gives you the pop and power needed for conquering steep, variable terrain and sending jumps, while rocker extending past the inserts keep the feel loose enough for playing around on rails and adds a bit of float when fresh snow falls. Its medium flex is forgiving when you want it to be, but still sturdy enough to handle sticky situations. And with a true twin shape, the Outerspace has no problem dropping in switch.
Four lightweight titanal struts just outside the inserts increase the board's strength while also enhancing response. The sustainably-harvested poplar core offers a smooth flex and lightweight feel without the need to destroy vulnerable rainforests in order to harvest it. It's finished off with an extruded base that's almost as hard as a sintered base, making it more impact-resistant, yet still easy to repair.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Received this board as a Christmas gift. Loved the look of the board and the new challenge of riding it. Putting the bindings on was a challenge as one of the screw holes had bad threads, probably unique to this one board. Anyhow, this made it difficult for me to adjusted my bindings as I was getting used to riding it for the first time. After speaking with a person from Backcountry, we decided to trade in the board for something else. I was then told the Captia Paradise board was probably more advanced and would take me most of the season to get used to it. Unfortunatel, I don't have all season (a college student) so I needed an intermediate board. I was fine with this advice and I received a different board, Solomon. Backcountry was amazing to work with. I tried my new board and LOVE, LOVE LOVE it! I would recommend this Capita Paradise board for a more advanced skier.
Great all Mountain Freeride!!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This is a very versatile wmn’s twin freeride board with a mid flex. I have the Outerspace Living for men and saw these were similar so I had my lady ride one at a demo and now she wants to get one.. With Camber under foot and rocker tip/tail you can skate the mountain looking for jibs or just be cruising one day then surfing pow during the next storm! I think she rode this board with Union Juliet Bindings and like those a lot as well!
A True Paradise
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Designed as a women’s version of the Outerspace Living, The Paradise is a perfectly balanced all-terrain freeride board that is stable, supportive and poppy- yet forgiving and easy to ride at the same time. Featuring camber underfoot for control and stability and a rockered nose and tail that floats in powder the Paradise rides above the chop the hill throws at it. With the true-twin tip design lines of a freestyle board and the camber theory of a freeride board, these decks offer confident ride-ability every girl is looking for.
