    Neo Slasher Splitboard

Capita's cult favorite Slasher got the factory split treatment in the form of the Neo Slasher Splitboard. This directional freeride board has long been a favorite choice of powder seekers, and this split version is for those who like a little more solitude with their powder quests. A healthy dose of camber underfoot provides stability in steep terrain or when shifting the board from fourth to fifth gear, while a generous rockered tip helps keep the nose riding high through deep powder conditions. Carbon Beams from the front foot to the nose channel energy for explosive pow slashes and powerful edge control, and the new Hyperdrive sintered base keeps you flying over flat spots all the way back to the car.

    • Splitboard based on the standard cult-favorite Slasher board
    • Stiff flexing delivers power, stability, and response
    • Mid-body camber with flat tail and rocker nose adds float and power
    • Lightweight, poppy wood core keeps the feel lively underfoot
    • Carbon fiber beams increase power and response
    • Holysheet fiberglass adds power and a dynamic performance
    • New Hyperdrive base is durable and super-fast
    • Item #CPT008S

    Cambered Charlie for the backcountry

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The Neo Slasher is One of the funnest & best shapes you could have for a Split Board!! I loved the Charlie Slasher so much I had it in 2 sizes..., a 58 & 61, however I had always wished they made a cambered version and this is totally it!! I used this board a few times last season, one of which was to get my AIARE's level 1 cert with Apex Mtn School in Vail, doing the cert was more uphill than downhill..., But this Split Kit did great for me going uphill majority of the 2 days. it's super easy and convenient to switch from Touring to to Riding Mode. Descending, this board rides like a dream. The Set Back Stance, Radical Tapered tail and Reverse cambered noise allow the board float and turn effortlessly in the good stuff. I like the added Duratail material on the back of the board for protecting from scratches when clanking around in touring mode. When I 1st got the board and was tring to dial in my stance I took it to Winter Park on a big Pow Day and had a Huge blast just riding lifts all day, This is A super Fun board and great value for the dollar compared to other Split board kits on the market, I have mine Paired with the Union Expedition 2.0 bindings, the set up seems light to me compared to some of my friends Split Set ups!!

    Good affordable rig

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

My favorite thing about the Neo Slasher split board is that it is shaped after one of Capita's best selling powder boards that is no longer available in their line. The Charlie Slasher. I love Capita's Charlie Slasher, it is one of the best shapes I have ever ridden. The Neo Slasher is the same shape with some added camber under foot to help with Skin engagement on the snowpack while climbing. The taper thru the tail and side cut are what make this such a fun ride down. I also like the price, quite a bit more affordable then boards my buddies are running.

    Good up and down

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

To say this board rides well is an understatement. Anyone that has ridden a Charlie Slasher, which is the shape this board was based on, would agree in a heartbeat. Its super tapered design with a big reverse camber nose floats effortlessly in the deep stuff, which means you don't have to work nearly as hard after a hugely tiring ascent. The difference with the Neo slasher vs the old Charlie shape is the Neo has camber through the mid section into the tail. This allows for a super good grip while skinning as it maintains the most amount of contact with the snow possible. The other short, and full reverse camber split boards on the market can ride great down hill also, but I've found they struggle a lot more on difficult and icy skin tracks.
