    Mercury Snowboard

Nearly impossible to find a more versatile board in the solar system, the Capita Mercury Snowboard uses space age tech to crush everything from narrow chutes and deep pow to huge kickers and icy pipes. The All-Terrain V1 profile is mostly camber for powerful pop and reliable edge hold, with rocker outside the bindings to help it float in deep snow and add a bit of forgiveness on hardpack.

The medium-stiff flex provides the stability and response you want for bombing into huge jumps and pointing it down steeps, but it's still capable of greasing the occasional rail too. Holysheet fiberglass is more powerful and dynamic than standard glass layups, and the Magic Bean resin holding it together is eco-friendlier to boot. New Amplitex V-Tech Amplifier delivers the dynamic response of carbon with the smooth, damp feel of flax so you can charge through rough terrain with control. Featuring twice the molecular density of the Superdrive base, the Ultradrive base offers unmatched speed and durability to ensure you're flying at mach speeds no matter where you are on the mountain.

    • Other-worldly directional twin for all-terrain domination
    • Camber with rocker tips for grip and response with float
    • Stiffer flex for going big and fast with confidence and control
    • Lightweight core with inlaid bamboo rods for pop and durability
    • Amplitex V-Tech Amplifier balances response and damping
    • Death Grip sidecut enhances edge hold on icy slopes
    • Ultradrive base is ultra-dense for serious glide and toughness
    • Titanal inlays beef up strength for added durability
    • Item #CPT009A

    So far so good

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Just bought the board for my friend, came in today, looks amazing, feels amazing and light, the fat side cut is one of the first things I noticed. Cant wait to try it out, heard a lot of good things about this board! One thing I'm concerned about is seems like the bottom of the board dings easily. Was pealing off the stickers on the board it comes with and just from barley using any force to peel the stickers it got scratched/dented a little. Super small not even noticeable, but makes me wonder how it will handle the occasional fallen tree branch or light crash into a tree. Or even worse a hidden rock. Ill update as me and my friend take it on its first snow day!

    All time in any conditions...!!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This board Rips so hard it's one of my all time favorite Capita boards and also my daily driver throughout the season!!! It's a directional twin that has camber under/ between your feet and Reverse Camber tip & Tail. The raised Death grip bump in the middle of the sidecut give it super solid edge hold and the reverse camber give you great float in pow and adds playfulness around the mtn. The side cut wants to turn and the core gives this board great pop. this board rides like an exotic car railing around turns, super solid at high speeds and floating like a dream in pow, this board rips in all conditions and terrain!! At 5'10 the 57 handles business on any mtn for me, it rides perfect switch too for being set back a 1/2 inch yet you still get your float in Pow!! Love this board so much I could just do a quiver of the Mercury in 3 different sizes!!

    All time in any conditions...!!

    Quiver killer!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

What makes the Mercury a quiver killer? This board is like a monster truck with a super car engine under the hood (is that even where monster truck engines are located?) as it will get you in and out of any situation the terrain throws at you, and it'll do it at high speeds. It does everything exceptionally well, as Capita puts it - "This board is for the dude whose doesn't check the weather report he just shows up and rips!". The positive camber that runs past the inserts allows you to go FULL THROTTLE and pop hard, while the reverse camber near the very end of the nose and tail allows you to stomp in the powder and keep on floating. With a name like HYPERDRIVE you know the base material is lightning fast! I was pleasantly surprised by how well I could still do presses and butters with it even tho it does feel pretty stiff. If you're looking for a "one and done" directional twin that is down for whatever, this is it. I am 5'10, 155 lbs, and I ride the 157.

    Swiss Army Knife

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Mercury has been the most versatile board I have ridden in the Capita line. If there were one board to ride for the whole season, the Mercury would be my choice. Positive camber under the feet for power and control, reverse camber in the nose and tail for float and maneuverability. Set back 1/2 inch for the perfect all mountain directional twin set up. Death grip between your feet helps the Merc hold an edge at high speeds. I couldn't imagine going thru a season without the Mercury as my go to board.

    An unbelievable all rounder

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This used to be my go-to board, then I started riding other boards like the BSOD to switch it up. Every time I come back to this thing I forget how good it is. The ability this board has to rip carves, slay pow, ride switch, handle the rough stuff, and get you down sketchy lines is incredible. I even like riding this board in the park, but it is a stiffer flex for park riding. If I wasn't sure what sort of riding conditions I was getting into, this is the board I would bring.
