    Horrorscope Snowboard

The Capita Horrorscope has always been a sought after deck for riders looking to lap the park for all-day jib sessions or taking to the streets to hit urban kink rails. Designed by the Capita team, the Horrorscope is easy to ride and maneuverable, but doesn't sacrifice performance when you're pushing the limits of your progression.

Thanks to the blunted tips, the Horrorscope can be sized down without feeling unstable and decreases swing weight for spinning on and off rails. The medium-soft flex provides a playful feel and makes it easy to press and butter while still having some stability for the jump line. The Park V2 Profile features a large flat section between the inserts for a predictable and forgiving ride, and rockered tips initiate turns and power through late season slush. The FSC Certified Select Core is composed of poplar wood for a lively and poppy feel, and is wrapped up in biaxial Special Blend Fiberglass for smooth and consistent flex. New for this year, the Superdrive EX sintered base adds durability and speed so you can blast into features at full throttle in any snow condition.

    For anyone and everyone!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is a great soft flexing park board for anyone of any skill level! It is flat from the outside of each insert and has a little bit of reverse camber in the nose and tail that allows it to maneuver quite well, press like a maniac, and float in the powder. I was super impressed with how durable and easy it is to maintain Capita's new Superdrive EX "sintruded" base. It is fast and hard like a sintered base, but easier to repair and maintain like an extruded base. It is very lightweight and snappy (the good kind of snappy you want for popping big Ollies) under foot. This is also great choice for beginners because the camber profile allows it to be really catch free and easy to turn without being aggressive. I am 5'10, 155lbs, and I ride the Horrorscope in a 153 for park laps and buttering up a storm on the whole mountain. It has made learning new tricks super fun and comfortable for me.

    For anyone and everyone!

    Great bang for the buck

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I had the opportunity to ride the 2019 Horoscope at summer camp. The Horoscope surprised me, I had so much fun on it. This board is perfect for cruising around the park and hitting everything. The extended zero camber zone between you feet make this board way more stable then Horoscopes of years past. This board is a fun ride for under $400.

    2019 Update

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The 2019 Horrorscope now has an extended flat section between the feet. This makes the board more stable and rideable on various terrain. It now has the same camber profile as the ultra fear but it's $100 less expensive and still tons of fun. Perfect for new riders and people looking for a park machine with an emphasis on rails and jibs!
