Cover up in the coldest months.

Stand up to winter's cruel cold with the knee-length Canada Goose Women's Shelburne Down Parka. Stuffed with 625-fill white duck down insulation, the Shelburne will keep you warm in temperatures as low as -15° Fahrenheit. The Arctic-Tech fabric that makes up this parka is Canada Goose's most proven fabric designed to stay dry in extreme conditions and climates, and Canada Goose added a DWR coating to shed snowflakes and raindrops for enhanced protection.

A slim fit gives the Rideau a sleek style that looks at home in cities and parks. This parka also features internal shoulder straps that allow you to wear the parka as a backpack when the weather starts to warm. Two-way adjustability gives the hood a secure fit, and the stylish coyote fur ruff is removable for washing. The rib-knit cuffs retain all that wonderful warmth, and the elasticized drawcord prevents the parka from riding up your body. Canada Goose also added several pockets for convenient organization from the drop-in pocket with a port for headphones to two fleece-lined handwarmer pockets.

writing this review for my wife. runs a lot smaller in the shoulders and arms than the mystique. Also - stuffing seemed thin though it was never tested. otherwise quality seems top notch. Had to return it as it was very snug. bought mystique in same size and it fit well - even a bit roomy so good for layers

    THE Parka

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

This jacket is rated a 3 on Canada Goose's Thermal Experience Index, this jacket should keep you adequately warm. It even comes with a storm flap over the center front zipper, fleece lined hand pockets, and it even has two lower back vents to allow a little breathing room when you're out running around. This jacket is made of Canada Goose's Arctic-Tech fabrics and materials which are durable and water resistant. This jacket and its materials are designed to help you stay warm and dry in extreme conditions. This jacket is not bulky, nor does it make you look like the Michelin Man- It fits like it was made for you plain and simple. Consider a Canada Goose jacket if you're in the market for something that will actually keep you warm this winter. It makes no sense having to buy several coats to get the job done. This jacket is an investment- you will see the returns all winter long. For questions about sizing and specific measurements, contact me directly. 801-204-4567

In picking this coat, is did a lot of research.
I wanted to pick not only a warm coat but one that my wife could wear without having to dress up but in thin layers. So the Canada goose shelburn seemed to be the perfect choice . But the problem though seemly well constructed is the zipper. My wife has actually needed help to get the zipper down to get the coat off before she roasts in it . I sent an email last week re same but as yet no reply . So I guess the only thing left is to return the coat.

    Finally warm all winter!!

I love love love this jacket. I am constantly freezing, even while wearing layer over layer, but I've been out in freezing temperatures in my Shelburne I am yet to feel cold. In fact, I haven't even worn it with more than one layer underneath.
I agree that this fur isn't as full as in the photo, but it's still pretty decent. The knit cuffs and internal shoulder straps (so you can take the jacket off and wear it almost like a backpack if you get too hot!) are great features.
I'm 5'4 and the jacket hits mid-thigh. I purchased the XS, which is a nice close fit, but with room for layers underneath, if needed.

    Shelburne parka

    • Fit: True to size

I received my shelburne parka in Niagra grape and I'm totally In love!! The fit is true to size and love the color even more in person, it's more like a rich burgundy, which I love!!! I'm 5'5" and goes past my thighs, which is a perfect length! The warmth factor is superior!! Pricey, but you get what you pay for!! It's beautiful!!!!

    nice and warm

It fits perfectly! Quality very good. I like the inside ribbons so you could carry it on your back when it's too hot to wear.
Though the fur doesn't look so fluffy as the picture...

Love this jacket. Got this in a size medium in the navy. I am 5"4 and 135 pounds. Fit great, a little big, but I like to layer under. This Canada Goose hood with the fur is great! Much better and fuller than the Kensington and Trillium hoods. Really enjoy this jacket. Much warmer than my North Face Artic Parka.

Do you have a Canada goose womens Shelburne parka in XXL? I am interested in Navy or Black

Hi Kim, Unfortunately we do not have this Jacket an XXL. We do have a few other Canada Goose Styles in XXL.

Feel free to give me a call or shoot me an email and we can chat about your other options. :)

Will you be receiving any Shelburne parkas in the Spirit color? Looking for size xs for Christmas. Thanks

I am looking for the Shelburne in a XXL in Black. Will you be getting more in stock anytime soon?? What is the difference between the Shelburne and the Victoria??

    Hi Theresa,

It doesn't look like we have any Black XXL on order right now. That's not to say that we won't be getting any in, but none anytime soon.

As far as the differences go. The Shelbourne is going to be a little bit longer, has more internal pockets, and is a regular fit whereas the Victoria is a slim fit. Other than that, and the different styles, the jackets are technically and functionally the same.

Hi I'm trying to work out the best size for a Canada Goose jacket - the Shelbourne. My chest is 39in, waist 32in and shoulders 45in (ie broad shoulders, slimmer waist). I usually get a smaller jacket to avoid being too big around the wasit/ body but just want to make sure that it won't be too tight around the bust and shoulders. Any thoughts? Cheers

    Hi Justine,

If you check out Canada Goose's website they have a pretty cool little fit calculator that can help get you in the right size. Use the link below to check it out. Click on 'What's my size?' near where you choose color and size of the jacket for purchase.

Does this jacket fit more like the Kensington or like the Trillium parka? I am trying to decide between a medium and a large and take a L in the Kensington and a medium in the Trillium. Thanks!

It's not as tight in the chest as the Kensington, but it is a slim fit like the Kensington. The pockets are lower and more comfortable. There seems to be more room in the body. It is not as boxy as the Trillium. You should probably be able to take a medium in this one if you were in between sizes in the others. This one does run a tiny bit shorter than the Kensington and Trillium, but it isn't very noticeable. The warmth is on par with both. If you like the style, and didn't like either of the others, this is kind of right in between. It worked for me.

I am looking for a small in black. do you know when you might expect more in? thanks!

    Hi -

looking for this in black in a size small, I saw in previous comment you are looking to get some more in mid to late November. Anyway to get on a wait list for those? would like to order ASAP.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hey Casey,

Sorry but this item is not available for backorder and we can't do a waitlist... Honestly the ship date given to us is pretty unreliable, which is why we haven't been posting a specific date. Best best would be to just keep checking back!
