The jacket is warm and comfortable. Great feature built into the jackets are: - The fur ruff is removalble - Made to be light and durable. Making it look heavier than other bomber style, but really is not - Large size zippers that is just the right size for glove handling - Has a total of 6 pockets + 1 on the inside left breast, medium sized + 2 standard pocket, but feels small + 2 hand warmer pockets that fits the hands just right + 1 on left arm for hideaways. Normally a large size jacket wearer, but have this in medium and fits well. Would only recommend a large only if you need the extra layers under the jacket.

The perfect winter bomber. The color BLUE is on point. This is my 2nd CG, and I love it. It's the warmest coat I have ever owned, and worth the price. The pocket placement is a little peculiar on the bomber, but I am not too worried about that. You can form the hood, so it's never droopy. must have.

Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten.....the heavy duty zipper, the strong stitching and the robust fabric and fill all combine to create a very practical and stylish garment. The pbi blue is a unique color and is distinctive in both an outdoors and an urban environment. The bomber length is great for driving /walking/biking in cold conditions. Providing warmth but not hindering lower limb movement. The overall fit tends to be a bit on the larger side, but gives ample scope for layering.the hood is great for wind protection but can hamper vision due to its large dimensions. The hood would be improved if the fur were detachable as it is on the pbi expedition parka. Overall this is a super garment and is probably more practical for regular use than the snow mantra/resolute or expedition parkas...which are kind of industrial/specialist garments that now have a cult urban following but seem too bulky for regular domestic use.

This jacket is insane. Probably the warmest I've ever had and great styling. I am 5'10, 165lbs. and the Medium fit perfect, with the zipper landing just below the belt, so no awkward stomach exposure. Strangers compliment it, and the blue is amazing. Despite the obvious hypocrisy, I also like that it helps the polar bear research and preservation community. Favorite jacket ever.

Awesome jacket!

Jacket arrived today. The quality and attention to detail is superb. I went for the Chilliwack because it is a bomber style jacket and being a wheelchair user it fitted in with what is practical for me. The jacket is like a furnace when it's on and I have no fears about going out in the cold stuff with this. The zip is so chunky you almost need an HGV licence to operate it. I can't see that ever failing. The hood adjusts nicely and is capacious to say the least. Two internal pockets are a good size and the exterior ones are also very well finished. Two fleece lined hand warmer pockets finish things off very nicely. Finally, the cuffs and hem are very cosy and ensure that no draughts will intrude easily. I know it has a DWR waterproof finish over the outer but in the rain, a shell jacket would complete this as a comprehensive system. It is designed for the snow obviously but this doesn't detract from it at all in my opinion.

Outstanding !!

First I would like to Thank the Backcountry Staff for there knowledge of there Products. I forgot the name of the girl who helped me but she was able to size me in this jacket for a great fit without having to go through the process of returning and reordering. Thank you! Very Impressive jacket, made well and attention to detail is outstanding. Very warm, Rated TEI 3, -10 to -20 Celsius. I'm 5'6" and 150lbs, 40" chest, I am a Med in all the other brands, but the small fits great with room underneath for layers. Great color, and the fur is a white/tan to make the color of the jacket pop! Very happy with Canada Goose.
