Lodge Down Jacket

Every dedicated outdoor-lover needs a good down jacket, and when you've got the Canada Goose Lodge Down Jacket you'll have an always-reliable option for adventures in the mountain or around town. A staple of Canada Goose's lineup, this newest version has been given a clean matte finish to reduce the shiny, technical look without scaling back on any technical features. The nylon ripstop fabric provides windproof protection to keep you warm and protected from howling winds, while the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating sheds moisture from lighter rain and steady snow to keep your insulation from getting soaked when the weather turns on you.

Speaking of insulation, this jacket features 750-fill down insulation to keep you cozy and warm on winter hikes and chilly fall belays, and has a slim-fitting design that makes it easy to throw on your favorite shell when you need some extra protection from the snow on powdery days at the ski resort. And whether you're packing for a weekend at your friend's mountain cabin or an extended globe-trotting adventure, you can stuff this jacket into its own pocket to help you save storage space in your bag or pack.

  • Toasty down jacket with versatility for the town and the mountains
  • Windproof ripstop fabric keeps out blustery alpine breezes
  • Down insulation provides body-hugging warmth in frigid temps
  • DWR coating sheds moisture from light rain and falling snow
  • Updated matte finish delivers a more casual and less techy look
  • Jacket stuffs into its own pocket and doubles as a camping pillow
  • Collar and hem feature adjustable drawcord to shut out the cold
  • Slim fit slides easily underneath a ski or alpine shell
  • Item #CDG00B4

All I can say is wow

This jacket is warm! I've had several "puffer" jackets but none made with this kinda quality. Yes it's expensive, but it's def warm and comfortable. Well worth it.

Jacket is warm and keeps the temperature regulated. Very comfortable and room for other layers under the jacket without being too bulky. The quality is undeniable with every part of the jacket having something Yes, it is expensive compared to other down jackets but can see and tell the difference so overall probably worth it

Not for the tall folk...

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Fit:
True to size

Loved the fit, the warmth, the tighter neck to seal out the cold, the attention to detail. However, the jacket is a couple of inches too short for people over 6' tall as it just makes it to the belt line and rides up as you sit down. Too bad, really.

Lightweight, warm, aesthetic appeal, and versatile. An excellent purchase. I tried several different jackets, including North Face, and being fair, none have compared.

Now this is a winter jacket!

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I'm glad I found this jacket when I was browsing your web site a few weeks ago. It was a definite impulse to buy this jacket, because I certainly couldn't justify the cost if I thought about it very long. I now consider it a great purchase, and am so glad to have it in my arsenal of winter gear. I love the feel of the coat: light weight, yet very warm; attention to detail, but also rugged. It's the most well made coat I've ever owned, and I'm pleased with my purchase every time I wear it. It's well-filled, but also carries a slim profile, so you can use it as a layer under a shell if you need to (cold rain, like we had last week). Overall, great jacket.

Best down sweater but expensive

This is the best of all the down sweaters on the market. By that I mean it's the warmest and the best quality. It has an outer fabric that feels like it won't rip or tear. But it's really expensive. Canada Goose must feel that they can get away with this price.

had this one for 3 weeks now and loving it every wintery, cold day out walking my dog.

i love this jacket, my other winter coats are upset because i only wear my Canada Goose Down since i bought this 3 weeks ago. great for walking my dog in the morning or evening. extremely light weight and very washable, of course it's stylish too.
