Excellent Technical Coat

This is a wonderful coat. Unlike a lot of Canada Goose?s parkas, this one is filled with more technical features like the other Hybridge line. For instance, the pockets are two sided with fleece lined pockets for your hands but with deeper pockets that also work as side vents. There are uninsulated strips under the arms that help make the jacket less constricting and improve movement. The suspenders inside the jacket made me laugh at first because they seem silly, but they actually came very handy when we were indoors in a warm hotel or museum and there was no coat check. The hood isn?t as big as the hoods on their parkas, but it?s still got plenty of insulation. This jacket is great for the city and looks very stylish too, but it?s also been great when we go to the mountains or when it?s frigid on my commute to work. It?s a mid-weight coat, and is definitely a slim fit, but still room for a heavy sweater underneath. You really could just wear a t-shirt underneath. Overall, a great coat that isn?t as heavy as a parka but still packed with warm down and isn?t constricting.
