The only gloves you will ever need.

You cannot go wrong with down. Ever. CG did a great job in the design and build of the gloves. I used them extensively this past winter to ski. During cold days (5 degrees Fahrenheit) I used them with a pair of thin wool line gloves and It worked perfectly. My son tried few times as well and said it was the best glove he ever tried on. Only mittens can deliver more warmth but if you like gloves - cannot go wrong here.

Very warm gloves. I have used them now on 3 very cold ski days in the Utah mountains and upstate NY. They did well in cold humid NY winter weather as well as high altitude western mountains. the gloves are very comfortable and seem to be durable but its too early to know. These are the best gloves I have ever owned without a doubt.

Great but not enough for me

I received these gloves about a month ago in preparation for winter. They are very good gloves. Well made, fit and finish are excellent. However I had to return them for they are not adequate for me. Up here in the Arctic, the windchill can get down to -40s F in a heartbeat and Feb-Mar. is not even here yet. These gloves did not keep my fingertips warm after 10-15 min. in the wind. I own the CG Heli Artic parka and I can stand outside for long periods of time without feeling cold at all. In fact, if I walk 1/2 mi. or more I'll start sweating and have to unzip half way to cool down. These CG gloves are perfect for me in -20 windchill range. If anyone out there has any suggestions for me, please ring in your 2 cents please.

I lived just outside of Embarrass Minnesota for a few years and it is the coldest spot in the continental US consistently. We would get down to about 40-60 below 0 before windchill for several weeks out of the year. When up there or on mountaineering expeditions I tend to use my RAB expedition mitts, they keep my hands super warm even when the temp dips. Not sure if your in the market for a glove or a mitten, but in my experience, down mittens are always warmer than gloves. It is my opinion when you have something that has high lofted insulation around the hand you lose fine dexterity anyways so it really does not matter. With a mitt, your fingers are all creating exothermic reactions for one another so they tend to be really efficient with regulating heat. If a mitt won't work then try the CG Northern glove it will only cost 100$ more and boasts dexterity as well as extreme warmth. Hope that helps

Very warm gloves! Living in Wisconsin during the winter season can be daunting.. if you don't have the right gear. They are long, which is good, and come up to 1/3 of my forearm, good for keeping the snow out.

I already have the parka & trooper hat,all I needed was the gloves.I tried to purchase them last year,but was unsuccessful,I waited to late in the season to purchase.I must tell you it was well worth the wait.Soon as I slipped my hands inside them,my hands were in glove heaven.From experience you can't go wrong with this company.

Warmest Glove I have ever seen, let alone owned. Fits very true to size and reasonably flexable.

What glove will work while I ride my Harley Davidson dyna 90+ mph in 30 degree weather ? I have yet to find a glove that will keep my fingers from hurting from the wind piercing thru the gloves. Let me know if there is such a glove that will absolutely block and resist the cold wind ..

CG doesn't temp. rate their products but rather say "ask those who know", well for me, when the windchill gets in the -40s, my fingertips gets a bit uncomfortable. If I was shoveling snow, that may be a diff. story.
