Lightweight performance with a dialed fit.
The ultralight Camp USA Trail Vest Light fits like a glove and keeps you comfortable and fueled during all-day, or even multi-day, enduro-fests. There is a separate sleeve inside the 10-liter main compartment for a water reservoir (bladder not included), as well as two front holsters for
water bottles, two mesh chest pockets (one zip and one mesh hook-and-loop flap) for energy gels and other supplies, and
two pockets at the waist for maps or headlamps. The moisture-wicking mesh back panel feels soft against bare skin, and hydrophobic mesh breathes and reduces chafing. EZ OP buckles at the shoulder straps and hip belt dial in a snug fit while the main compartment's stretchy panels prevent small loads from shifting around. Camp USA coated the ultralight ripstop shell for enhanced durability.
The Trail Vest Light also features an Express trekking pole carrying system that stores your poles when you don't need them, and there are also attachment points for bungees if you need a little more compression for your runs.

A little rough
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This pack has all the features I wanted just fell a little short in the execution.
Pros, sizing is nice. At 6'2" 180lbs I got the large, it fit well. The chest bottles were low on my ribs not in front of me. A good amount of storage and all pockets are easy to get to. Found some great videos for the various ways to carry poles (I don't) and options for running a hydration bladder. Hip pockets were large enough for lunch and Samsung Galaxy S6. A big bonus was the zippered "pack" section has nylon backing and not mesh so your gear doesn't get sweaty.
Cons. Rough mesh fabric with not much stretch. The chest holsters overlap the hip pockets making it difficult to fit soft bottles inside of them while on the move.
Velcro pockets in the main compartment are only good for light, large items, so not your keys...
Some features I would like to have removed were stitched to the pack ( trekking pole carry system.
Which leads me to why I'm returning the pack and poor review. The shock cord system on the top section of the pack is very VERY abrasive and cannot be removed. Why such a rough patch of material against your body? the housing for the shock cord wore a hole in my Zoot vest and badly irritated my shoulder.
Also the buckle on the lower section of the front scuffed my vest badly right below my chest.
If the fabrics were a softer and those 2 major problems fixed I would have rated this pack at 4.
One run, 2400' vert 10 miles.
