Awesome Sport Harness
Bought this for my partner and has served as a great harness for sport days and days in the gym. Really comfortable and functional. For the price, I think it is a great option!

Size outlier couldn't even put it on
Ordered a small since my waist and legs are well within this size range Couldn't get the waist band over my 40 inch butt, but the legs fit quite nicely and seemed well cushioned. Unfortunately, I'm going to go with a different brand; I don't think this one in a medium or large would cinch enough. It would be unfair to rate this 1 star and inaccurate to give it 5 stars since I can barely find non-spandex pants in this universe so here have 4 stars for a cool looking and [what seems to be] high quality harness.

I've used this harness for about 500 days of climbing over the past three years. I purchased it because it had great reviews and was affordable and I thought it'd be a good step up from my first harness, the BD Primrose. While it has served me well, I'm mildly annoyed by how loose it sits on my waist. I am 5'5", 27" waist, size small, 130lbs, athletic build, and I own the harness in a size small. It fits, but I have to cinch it up as far as it goes. I usually just wear it to sport climb in the gym, so no layers. While some say that this harness would work for trad climbing, I've tried racking up on this and I find it incredibly uncomfortable to carry more than just sport draws on. For trad I wear the Misty Mountain Cadillac, and that works fine.

Small & Light. Don't Love Fully Loaded.
I've been using this harness exclusively for over 2 years now and I definitely have some thoughts. Initially, I LOVED it! I was looking for something to replace my Petzl Luna (my first harness ever) which was wearing through in the webbing of the leg loops. At the time I was just getting into more trad leading, and I was drawn in by the color, the price, and positive reviews. Initial impressions: I loved the colors, it fit me well, and had the basic features I was looking for. I like adjustable leg loops for my muscular legs (fixed are a no go for me) and an auto double backing waist buckle. It's lower profile than my Luna was, so it packs down really well. I've used the anti-crossloading slot, but honestly it's a bit of a pain to set up, so I mostly just use the belay loop in the normal fashion without bothering to thread it into the rubber slot. In the past 2+ years I've used this harness for single pitches, multipitches, sport, trad, and ice, from Indian Creek, to Yosemite, to the Red & New River Gorges. I'd say my favorite applications for it are non-project sport climbing, and light and fast multipitch objectives. When fully loaded down with gear, on say a long Indian Creek pitch, or a variable multipitch trad route, the waist belt will dig into my hips uncomfortably. I've ended up with bruisy tenderness on my hipbones after spending too much time wearing it fully loaded up. It's also not the best for hanging in. I've definitely ended up with sore thighs after spending too much time at hanging belays, or long rappels. In the search for something more comfortable for hanging in and loading up fully with gear, I just purchased the Edelrid Solaris, but I intend to keep my CAMP Supernova for sport climbing, light-and-fast alpine objectives (where I'll have less gear, and be more willing to endure some hanging belays for the sake of weight in my pack), and maybe some single-pitch (non-Creek) trad cragging. I can definitely speak to the durability of this harness, as it's seen a lot of use on all types of rock, and it's still in great shape! My measurements are around 28" waist and 23" thighs, and the size medium fits me well.

I mostly love this harness. On a superficial level, the colors are awesome and I love how it looks when I have it on. The fit, however, is not ideal. I'm not tiny by any means: 5'5", 125lbs, pants size S/27-28"/2-4, and the small size baaarely fits. I have to cinch it up as far as it goes. It's fine, but anyone smaller than me would have a hard time. fitting into it. Same with the leg loops, despite being a weightlifter and having pretty muscular legs for my size. I have to cinch them all the way. While hanging on a route, it's comfortable enough. I obviously am not expecting this to be the most comfortable, but I wouldn't want to hang in it too long, as after hanging for a bit to work through a sequence it starts getting unpleasant. Still, this harness is awesome. I'll probably try a new one for my next harness, though.

Best harness I've owned!
When I first got this harness, I will admit I was a little skeptical. I've had lightweight harnesses in the past, and hanging in them kind of sucked. The leg loops would dig into my butt and the waist would become quickly uncomfortable. Not with this harness! It's slightly padded and perfectly designed to distribute weight so that nothing digs in. I wanted to wait to review this because I just got back from Potrero Chico. I spent many hours at hanging and semi-hanging belays in this harness while there, and I still love it (the picture included is at one of these). And yes, it's super light-weight! I also really dig the gear loops. I previously had a harness that had gear loops that stuck out slightly. I never really had an issue with them, but I love how these gear loops sit against the harness. I've also got a Metolius SafeTech which has similar gear loops and I forgot how easy they were to clip and unclip on. The plastic covering is nice too. They do look a little small at first, so I wouldn't recommend this for a trad harness, but I was able to fit a ton of quickdraws (carried 20 at most) and whatnot on it for my trip. Some people said the sizing runs small, so I got a S. I'm 5'2" and about 110lbs, but I think an XS would have been better for me. I have it fully cinched in the S and still have a little extra room. Last thing - a few weird things about this harness. It closes on the other side. No big deal, just different. It also has the "No-Twist" belay loop. Not going to lie, I tried to use it once and hated it (it was tough to get the carabiner where I wanted it, and I couldn't twist my belay device to sit comfortably in my hands). So I just ignore it - it doesn't get in the way of anything.

Beware pear-shaped tall ladies!
The leg loops are so lightweight that they double-back onto themselves when hanging. It was as if it was rope digging into the back of my thighs. If I wasn't so curvy and long-waisted, this may be a non-issue. So painful that I could not hang on the wall for an extended period of time projecting. Before hanging in the harness, I loved how lightweight and adjustable the harness was. May work for other body types.

CAMP USA Supernova Harness - Women's
I bought this harness due to the phenomenal OutdoorGearLab review. Even though it is sized for women, it fits my body quite well and comfortably. The features, such as chimney-friendly elastic back straps and a no twist belay loop, are probably the biggest selling point of this harness. It is very light and packable, making it perfect for a route with a long approach and big rack. Having used six different brands' harness and their respective gear loop types, I've decided that I prefer the gear loops on this harness out of all the ones I've used. The loops can fit a lot more on them, accomidate ice clippers easily, and stay out of the way while I'm climbing. In conclusion, this harness is the best one that I've used, and as a man using a women designed harness, I'd recommend this to both sexes because of its versatility and features. Size info: I'm 6' and 130 lbs, and the medium fit me the best.

Comfy and Lightweight
I bought this harness because it was on sale and CAMP received high endorsement from a climbing friend. Was it ever a great purchase! I really love this harness. I've used it rock climbing, ice climbing, and mountaineering, and throughout all these activities, it's performed excellently. Features I really appreciate are the buckled leg loops (essential for donning or removing the harness while wearing crampons), the haul loop, and low-profile padding that is comfortable without taking up a lot of space. While not the lightest weight harness out there, it is fairly light when compared to other gear that offers comparable features, which is nice when packing it up a mountain trail with a week's worth of supplies. It's also comfortable enough to hang in for extended periods of time, as I did when playing the role of a victim during a crevasse rescue practice session. I'm so impressed with this harness that I'll likely buy another one to have when my first wears out. For size info, I'm 5'2" and 122 lbs, and the S fits me perfectly.

Howdy! I am about your same size and require a size S. But I would double check yourself against these measurements for the Supernova off the CAMP USA website. SIZES XS: Waist 56-66 cm, 22-26 in | Legs 52-62 cm, 20.5-24.4 in S: Waist 63-73 cm, 24.8-28.7 in | Legs 56-66 cm, 22-26 in
