Lightest.
The Photon Locking Carabiner is Camp USA's lightest locker designed specifically for alpine and multi-pitch climbing, but it'll be a welcoming piece of gear for any rack. New for the season is Camp USA's SphereLock nose, which is essentially a slimmer keylock nose that eliminates snagging and reduces play between gate and nose. This Photon has a standard screwgate locker for security.

Smoooth and light
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This is what a carabiner should be. Smooth, locks/unlocks easy, and is super lightweight. Will definitely be using again.

Super smooth!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I mainly used these to set up anchors and my PAS. The screwgate motion is smooth/easy to turn and the overall body of the carabiner is light. I used them for around a month of climbing every weekend, and small signs wear are present.

Light and Smooth
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These carabiners are great. I purchased them on recommendation from an experienced climber friend as I was just learning, and I found them to be really useful for several applications. The screwgate action is very smooth and they are light and versatile. The longer I've spent climbing, the more nuanced I've gotten about things I prefer in my climbing gear, and now I lean more towards Petzl Spirits or DMM Shadows for small, light locking carabiners. These, however, do the job very well.

Light
Lightweight, which counts for a lot. Some downsides: - Less durable. I set up a toprope with them only twice, and saw much more wear than I was expecting. Not really its ideal use case. I use this mostly for cloving in at belay, etc for multipitch and alpine stuff. - Personal preference on the screwgate. It's nicely studded and easy to turn, especially with gloves. But it's got sharp edges which tend to catch on webbing and whatnot, so can be fiddly. Would prefer some roundover.

Light is Right
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I've replaced all my lockers with the Photon's due to how light they are, how durable they are and the compact size. I use these for everything from a belay biner to building anchors. The best of the best!

Lightweight

This carabiner is great for multi-pitch climbing. I have three that I use for building anchors. They are very light and the clean nose design is nice to prevent snags. The locking action is very smooth and the construction is very nice.
