    Rack with these!

Witness the amazing wonder carabiner that is the Nano22! they are very small and extremely lightweight but they clip very easily and due to the design geometry the gate does not feel awkward or small for me. being able to cut weight off the trad rack without sacrificing strength and durability makes these my go to trad biner.

      Light weight but ...

These carabiners are great for a lightweight racking 'biner, however I've noticed that the quality is not as good as other major brands. The issue is that where the wire gate joins the body of the 'biner there are drill burrs still. Also the button formation on the gate wire is not properly done and as a result the stamped button has sharp lips. This is to be expected to some extent on all wiregate 'biners but it seems that these are worse than normal due to misalignment of the button forming tool. I had to file the button circumference slightly to remove sharp edges so that I don't get potential cuts in my draws/slings. Be warned. And when I say 'file' I'm talking a very small amount just to remove the 'v' sharp edge of the button.

Agreed, the sharp/snaggy ends on the wire are a big disappointment. Inevitably, they end up snagging on slings, or producing shallow finger slashes. A bummer since the shape of the carabiner is great, and the weight fantastic. I use most of mine for utility use because of this issue. Another lightweight carabiner, the Trango Phase, is much smoother...but even at 30 grams, they are much heavier.

        Perfect for trad

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These are great, big enough to do anything you need them to on your alpine draws, as part of an anchor, or as racking 'biner. I eve have some 30cm slings with two of these that I use on sport climbs if I run out of quickdraws. Honestly close to half the weight of a normal sport draw. Wish they were just a bit cheaper but if you get lucky, they are sometimes the cheapest 'biner you can get. Over all size is about the same as a neutrino and a little smaller than a full sized non-locker.

        strong and light

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The perfect carabiner for alpine draws. although they are extremely light weight and small the carabiners are surprisingly strong and versatile. I also use these carabiners with my cams. The colors match my Black Diamond C4 and X4 perfectly making its very easy to see what I am reaching for. Anyone looking for a small light weight carabiner needs to grab a pack of the Nano 22.

        My favorite carabiner!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using these carabiners for my alpine draws for a while now, and recently picked up a pack to use with my Black Diamond C4 cams. I love how light and slim they are, while still maintaining the ease of use and functionality of much larger biners. The colors don't match my cams perfectly, but they're close enough that I can easily know which cam I'm grabbing by just looking at the carabiner. If you need a light, high quality carabiner for any type of use, pick up some of these!

        The lightest of the light.

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Nano 22s are my go to biner for racking cams or using on alpine draws. They are the low profile and narrow to cut down the amount of space used on your gear loops. Being lighter than almost any other biner on the market, these are the ultimate biner for the weight conscious climber.

Updated, THE LIGHTEST, and Still Strong

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The Nano 22 has always been my biner for alpine draws and for climbing in the alpine. Being so light and low profile, they are the best biners for their weight.

These are the updated biners - stronger, more durable, and with a large bucket. Excellent update to a great ultralight biner!
