Why We Like The Flat Top Grill

There really is no reason for us to use a stove when we have the Camp Chef Flat Top Grill. Four burners and an even heat cooking system deliver perfectly cooked steaks and pancakes every time, and two folding side shelves keep all of the fixins' close at hand.

Good device, bad QC

I bought the Flat Top 600 and have mostly been happy with it. There are a few issues: 1. The middle rack came with a lot of scratches on it. It's not a deal breaker, but not great for a new product to come damaged. 2. The flat top does not sit flush on the grill. This makes cooking somewhat unpleasant since it's not an even surface. This is definitely a major annoyance. I'll likely have to prop up one side with washers to keep it from rocking. 3. If it's slightly windy, the flames underneath go out. That said, I've cooked on it a few times and have been very pleased with the results hence the decent star rating.

Great grriddle.

Great griddle. Well made. Slow to ship and instructions are poor. But the griddle is really good.

In need of parts

I bought this 4 years ago and need to replace the burners and heat deflectors. The parts are all rusted out. Any advice on finding the part numbers as this site doesn’t show a picture or specify the model for the parts

Should have bought one sooner!

The Flat Top 600 is a must for foodies looking to expand their outdoor kitchen options. There is plenty of cooking space to create different temperature zones and cook a variety of items at the same time. It seems very solid and well built. I can't believe that I waited so long to get one!

worth every dollar!

I researched every flat top griddle on the market and the Camp Chef is the best regardless of price. From Camp Chef having built in wind guard on griddle, ability to level cart and griddle, two in one griddle and grill, pre-seasoned griddle, and not having to always light burners in series, were just a few of the reasons I chose Camp Chef. After cooking on the FTG600 for the first time, I am now trying to find recipes for a good excuse to use it again and again. Just go buy one that fits your lifestyle and enjoy.

Go full beast mode!

I bought this in August, and let me tell you, it's absolutely fantastic. So much fun I'm cooking at least one meal a week on this thing...a lot of times, more. Wife loves it because she doesn't have to cook. Kids love the pancakes. I guess the only thing I'm not looking forward to is shoveling the snow off my patio, so I can use this thing in the winter. LOL.

Should have bought this sooner

Love the size and the control with the 4 burners. Solid construction and easy to put together. Should have bought this years ago.

camp chef

I bought this griddle a few weeks ago, I have to say the product is amazing. Easy to set up very sturdy. Of course the product is great but Outdoor Cooking has in my mind put a great site to navigate and customer service is tops in my book. I would recommend Outdoor cooking to anyone .

Great Griddle, Great Customer Service

Love the griddle. Only two problems I have had. One is after the first cook I while it was cooling off I heard a pop and later seen that one weld popped on the heat diverter plates. I didn't really think that one was a problem as there are like 20 of them. But Camp Chef replaced it right away. The second problem is it didn't come with a lid. I found one I like.
