quality improvements
i have used the old design of the podium i e for years and really like it, my favorite bottle. can definitely tell a difference i the insulation. the reviews for this new design said it was harder to squeeze when drinking. i didn’t find that to be the case at all, maybe a little stiffer bottle, but nothing drastic. what i really like about it is the updated drinking nozzle and assembly. appears to be much easier to clean. will definitely buy again.

Does its job
Great bottle for keeping your drinks nice and cold. Works better than any I have tried. Much easier to keep clean over their older style too.

Like the bottle, hate the cap
The insulated bottle does a good job keeping liquids cold, which is the main reason I bought it. The twist lock mechanism on the cap however is impossible to operate one-handed, i.e. while riding. Please bring back the good old fashioned pop up cap.

Double charged for poorly molded plastic
Got charged twice. Zero response from customer service. Bottles were badly warped on inside make the 21 oz bottles hold less than 16 oz.

Ice is the right name!!!!!
Fantastic product and definitely colder than the Chill version. I can ride for over an hour in 90 degree heat and still have ice cubes in the bottle. I’ve bought 2 more....

Know what you are using
It needs a cover lid, I finally figured out how to forcibly disconnect the nozzle parts to clean the dirt, mold and the smell trapped in the nozzle. I don't like to force things apart but I needed a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the guts out for cleaning. Hopefully it works without leaking after my cleansing effort. The open/shut valve is difficult to use when biking.

Best soft sided water bottle available.
I've used the Podium Ice for several seasons now. It's a champ, it holds ice much longer than other soft-sided water bottles.

Superb bottle, useless locking feature.
It keeps my drink cold which is great but the nozzle is REALLY hard to twist open and close. When I'm cycling I have to leave the nozzle unlocked so I don't put too much work in trying to unlock the bottle and have a serious accident. It's really disappointing on that end. My water stays cold pretty long I guess. I'm a fan of the old nozzles that you can pull with your mouth and slam shut. Going to have to find one to replace.
