Because no one ever said they wanted to get Giardia on a ride.

Designed especially for the off-road crowd, the Dirt Series Podium 21oz Bottle from CamelBak aims to quench your thirst without any weird tastes from inside your bottle or on the valve. CamelBak uses a BPA-free TruTaste material and won't taint the flavor of your drink and the HydroGuard antimicrobial coating keeps sports drinks from funking up the inside of the bottle. A self-sealing Jet Valve prevents spills and splatters and a gentle squeeze of the bottle delivers a high-flow of your beverage. At the base of the valve, a positive lockout lets you turn the valve 90 degrees so no liquid inadvertently spills in your race bag or car. What makes this particular bottle dirt worthy is the integrated mud cap that seals out the elements preventing any contamination of the drinking surface. So if you have a full-suspension frame that forces you to carry a bottle on the underside of your downtube and you ride on trails that are equine friendly, you can thank us later.

    Another good Camelbak bottle

I'm a huge fan of the Camelbak podium bottle because of the quality of the cap, and most of the time that's sufficient. But for super dusty mountain bike rides, the nozzle can get a little gross. The cap is an effective solution to that problem that is great for long rides. I wouldn't use it for races because of the additional time to take the cap on and off, but for any casual ride it's a great option.

      cover it up

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been riding the regular podium bottle for a while so getting one of these was a no-brainer. The cap does what it's supposed to and keeps the mouthpiece clean and crud-free.

keeps the crap out of your mouth

This bottle. So good. So rad. I loved my normal Podium Chill bottle and just when I thought it couldn't get better... BOOM. Camelbak pulled through and slapped a cover for the mouthpiece. Think that isn't that cool? Well it is when you you don't have a mouth full of dirt, rocks, and whatever else you might find on the trail (dog turds).

Keep the dirt, dust and sand out of your mouth with this cap-covered water bottle. Easy to squeeze water into your mouth without touching, has a lock-close spindle on the mouth piece too. Pairs well with Lyzene bottle cages for MTB endeavors too.

This is the best Mtn Bike bottle I've ever used! The fact that you can lock the cap to prevent it from spilling in your truck on your way there is great! Then, having the cap to keep the dust off the tip is a necessity that's so often overlooked for Mtn bikes! It squeezes easy and works like a champ!

      Keep the dirt out.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

We have all experienced sipping out of a bottle on a ride that is covered in mud or dirt... simple solution put an easily removable top on it. While a little dirt isn't the worst thing, there are always those days when it turns into a bit more than "just a little" dirt. Have these in several colors and love it.

A need if you have a Yeti.
