What does this fit?

The reservoir is fine, no bad taste, no leaks, but it doesn't fit my pack. I bought this pack as a replacement for my Camelbak hip pack. It doesn't fit at all, and now I have 45 reservoir that I need to find a new pack for. :-(

Leaks a ton

Have used a few times. The design of the pack is pretty cool, but the reservoir leaks. Thing is almost impossible to seal properly. Oh-well 100 bucks+ down the drain

This Low Rider version is meant for packs that carry the water at the waist. If you have a CamelBak pack and the model name includes "LR", then this is the correct replacement. For example M.U.L.E. LR or Skyline LR (my personal favorite for Mt Biking). As the rest of the reservoir line up, Hands down, this is the most durable reservoir on the planet. Impact resistant, Puncture resistant, you can boil it, you can freeze and it has an anti microbial built into the reservoir itself that will not flake off if scrubbed with the most abrasive cleaning implement you can come up with. If it leaks from a manufacturing defect, CamelBak will replace it with their Lifetime Got Your Bak Guarantee.

Perfect for MTB

Works perfect. No bad taste like cheaper options. Tastes like clear spring water without having to get off your bike. Skyline lumbar bag keeps the weight low for a good center of gravity on jumps. Throw the bladder in the fridge overnight and it stays cold all day.

Leaks leaks leaks

Can’t seal it. I’ve tried everything with no success. This is the last camelbak product I ever buy. They should know better. Lots of other great products for other companies out there.

Leaks, more like dumps

Thought I got lucky... this came in my mule ($130) and worked well for six months. Now? Completely worthless, and I’ve tried a lot of different things to get the reservoir to seal again. My buddy bought the same pack and has the same problem. It’d be nice if camelback got their act together, what a load of garbage. Go buy an osprey.

Leaks!

The product immediately didn't hold water right out of the box. The o-ring didn't properly seal causing leakage whether there was 3L or 0.5L This product is being returned.

Works Great for Me

This Lumbar 3L Reservoir came in the CamelBak Sundowner that I bought a year and a half ago in preparation for a one-day Grand Canyon South to North Rim to Rim hike. Since then I've also used it this spring for a one-day Grand Canyon Rim to River to Rim hike. I like how the reservoir fits low on my back in the Sundowner, and the water stays relatively cold. I've never had a problem closing the lid tightly. For me, it's been a great reservoir, keeping me well-hydrated during training and Grand Canyon hikes. I especially like how easy it is to drink from the tube.

Wider hose not a good idea

I wish Camelbak would spend more time testing their product. It seems no thought was invested in studying how expanding the diameter of the hose would increase the amount of hot water in warm climates like Arizona. I just bought this Reservoir thinking the value connection improvement would be good. I didn't realize they expanded the hose diameter. Bad Idea. All it took was a single ride to realize how quickly the water heated up from the sun. BTW- hose insultation doesn't work either on their 'cold weather' gear. Camelbak, please invest in features that matter. Hot water in Desert climates is a problem. There's solves for this problem...it's time to come up products that support it.

Perfect for getting around

I bought a pack with the reservoir. It has never given me a problem over the 6 months I've had it. Really like where the water weight sits as opposed to along the back. Never leaked yet.
