Favorite CamelBak
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Great bag, my favorite camelbak. Just enough storage for my day trips and plenty of water. Wears really comfortably.

Great pack!
- Familiarity:
- I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
I gave this as a gift and got great feedback...I love how this CamelBak makes staying hydrated so easy. Throw a few snacks in the front pocket and you are ready to explore.

What I needed
Got this for my trips down south to grand junction and arches national park. wasn't too much water or too little. The fit was nice as well. The annoying thing only was that the tube got hot so to get to the cooler water you had to take a few more sips than you might have wanted.

More Storage?
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
So Camelbak makes like a million different packs, each with more and more storage. If you need to store more than the bare necessities this is not the pack for you, but if have a seat pack on your bike and you are just looking to take more water and a snack or two, this is perfect. I love how low profile it is, super minimal! Going for a long unsupported gravel ride? Looking for extra water to skip an aid station? Wanting to go super minimal but have a ton of water? This is my jam! I also own the MULE which is great when you want to take a small first aid kit, mini pump, multiple extra tubes, and enough food for an epic adventure? if that is what you are after then this is not the ideal pack.

Gets Water on my Back! But thats all
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Its definitely an awesome, basic Camelbak if that is the only thing you are looking for! There really isn't room for much else in the bad. I can maybe keep a small pair of bike gloves in the back pocket, but thats about all. If you just need a Camelbak, this is perfect. Get it for mountain biking, or light hikes!

Adequate Hydration Pack
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
It gets the job done. I would maybe suggest spending a few more bucks to upgrade. The 3L is plenty for day hikes but there isn't much room for storage. There isn't enough room to hold snacks or tools. I would suggest upgrading.

Wish it had more storage
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Bought this new Camelback to replace my old one of 10 years. Great design and solid construction. Very comfortable to carry and the bladder cap is easily to handle (I have had several that have leak issues). My only critique is the lack of pockets for storage. This bag only has one zipped pocket, whereas my last one had 2 zipped and 2 side meshed pockets (enough for a lengthy day hike). Great back, but be aware that you can not carry a lot of extras.
