Endeavor Climbing Shoe
An all-arounder, the Butora Women's Wide Fit Endeavor Climbing Shoe feels good on intermediate gym routes, sport crags, and most multi-pitches. Butora shaped this shoe with slight asymmetry and a subtle downturn to help boost your morale on any climb you encounter. The Endeavor's construction includes a moisture-managing German split-leather upper, stretch-reducing PU strips, and an odor-resisting hemp lining. Updates for this year include Poron's padding at the breathable mesh tongue for more comfort in cracks. Underfoot, the Endeavor features a stiff midsole to ensure structure on dime-sized edges, and Butora's butyl F5 rubber sole sticks to slabs and edges equally for smearing or toe-powering.

Love Them! The Best!
- I've put it through the wringer
I have used these climbing shoes for over a year, and they are so comfortable. They snug but don't hurt. They work well on the rocks at the gym. In order to size them well, you must choose one size and a half up from your regular size shoe. For example, I wear a size 8.5. So, one size and a half will be a size 10. I have a narrow foot, but since these shoes run small, I decided to get these in a wide and, they work fine.

Difficult sizing, shoes don't match
- I've used it several times
I wear a 7.5 US women's in my everyday shoes. I ordered a size 8. That's what the Butora website recommends for a comfortable fit, rather than tight fit. And the Butora guy had come to my climbing gym and he said I should get an 8. I received a shoe with the tag saying "US 7; US female 8; UK 6; EUR 39.5". Both shoes were super super tight when I first got them. And the right shoe was so tight that my toes were curling and I could climb only one pitch in them because of the pain. I've worn the crimson endeavor before as the rentals at the gym. The gym called those a size 8 but after the shoes I ordered turned out to be so crazy-tight I asked about it at the gym. Turns out that what the gym calls an 8 has a tag saying "US 9; US female 10; UK 8 EUR 42" on the Butora tag. I was wearing those gym rentals in the winter with socks, so maybe should have got a US women's size 9 for a wearable sockless fit. It's my fault for not checking the tag inside the shoe at the gym before ordering. But the low star rating is because the two shoes are different sizes. After wearing them a few weeks and shoving crumpled paper in them when not wearing them (to try to stretch them) I can wear the left shoe for climbing but have to take it off hen belaying. The right shoe still is really too tight and parts of my toes and forefoot get numb. Hoping to stretch them out more somehow as I can't buy more shoes.
