Why We Like The Symbol Insulated Jacket

Featuring Burton's DryRide Durashell membrane with critical seam taping, the Burton Symbol Insulated Jacket repels water to keep the kids warm and comfortable whether they're shredding at the park or hanging out with friends. Mapped Thermacore insulation places more warmth at the core to help stave off chill. The drop-down hood is helmet-friendly for extra protection when the snow begins to fall. The expandable Room-To-Grow system adds two inches of additional length—so growing groms can use the jacket next season.

My son is a few months shy of being 12. He typically wears as 12/14 - this jacket and pants suit fit perfect. He said it's very warm. Material felt great, nice and soft - high quality.

A *little* large but awesome

Got two sizes for two kiddos, one Small and one Medium. Both are a little bigger than anticipated, but no one had any issues. Sleeves are a bit longer than expected but once you have mitts on it does not matter. Built solid and performed very well in awful sloppy New England weather on the first use. Kids stayed warm and dry - and looked sharp as we scraped along the ice. Great jackets! While they run a little large, I'd argue that extra room helps with mobility and longer term use.
