Why We Like The Burton Supreme Snowboard Boot

For steep terrain, plentiful powder, and natural sidehits, we equip ourselves with the warm, responsive, and comfortable Burton Supreme Snowboard Boot. This boot provides the support needed for hard-charging freeriders while offering enough flexibility to lock in presses and boost tweaked-out methods in the backcountry.

The Speed Zone lacing uses Burton's exclusive New England Ropes to provide a secure yet comfortable fit, and the Life Liner offers improved feel while resisting breakdown so we get the same performance every time. The PodBED dual-density sole grips snow and ice with ease and employs EVA foam, B3 Gel, and ReBounce cushioning to soften big cliff drops and overshot landings alike.

Worst iteration of this boot yet

I've been wearing Supremes since they came out nearly 20 yrs ago, so I've had a number of pairs. This is the ugliest, most cheaply built, ill-fitting pair of boots I've ever owned. The rubber toe wrap is useless (they were plenty durable before, and the glue seams wouldn't be more durable kicking into the hill), and constricts the shell - there's no give to the front of the boot, or the instep. The liner is nowhere near as premium as it used to be. The J-bars hit in a weird place compared to other brands. I went through extensive boot fitting and I still can't wear them. Gigantic waste of $600, a morally reprehensible price for snowboard boots, especially when tbey are no better than the $400 version.
