I bought these for a mid-base layer and they do a great job. They do run a little big (I returned my large for a medium for comparison I have a size L in patagonia's mid base layer). These are very comfortable and non restricting. I was very warm in them, but not hot, did a great job wicking moisture away, felt dry all day.

These are great, Not too tight and not too loose. Been taking them up to the resort and they keep me warm in 10 degree fresh pow days all the way to sunny days in the park. Stylish and comfy, these are great!

These are not your typical skin-tight base layer. They're looser fitting, but not quite as loose as flannel pants. I have only worn them hiking so far, but will definitely use them snowboarding this winter- they wick very well, and are stretchy, comfortable, and warm enough. They fit awesome, and don't bunch up or anything weird. Work great for sleepware when camping in the cold- was grateful for these when I had to get up in the middle of the night when it dropped into the 20s on me! Hello September in the sawtooths!
