Malavita Re:Flex Snowboard Binding

With its freestyle-focused design and comfort-enhancing features, it's little wonder that the Burton Malavita Re:Flex Snowboard Binding has become the go-to choice for freestyle-minded Burton team riders, whether they do their damage in the streets, the halfpipe, or the backcountry. Like a luxury sports car, it uses top-end tech to deliver the perfect combination of comfort and performance, so you can charge lap after lap with a smile on your face.

A responsive baseplate provides the power and precision needed to carve icy pipe walls, launch kickers, and blast pow turns. The medium-flexing Canted Living Hinge highback is tweakable for styling out grabs and jibs, but is still supportive enough to handle the biggest hits in the jump line. Heel Hammock lets you run your straps a little looser while still maintaining a responsive connection, meaning you get lightning-fast edge-to-edge transitions without squeezing the feeling out of your foot.

The Hammockstrap ankle strap has a nylon strip running down the center that gives you a direct connection to your board at all times, meaning your board instantly responds to your every command. Plus, the asymmetric shape is reversible to allow you to choose between power or mobility. At the front, the Supergrip Capstrap locks down your boot securely without creating pressure points, so you'll never have to sweat about it slipping off mid-run. Double Take buckles have teeth on both sides to make clicking in faster, smoother, and, not to mention, more secure.

  • Perennial freestyle favorite for demanding park and street riders
  • Medium flex for versatile all-mountain performance
  • Responsive and tough composite baseplate
  • Asym Hammockstrap is reversible for different rides
  • FullBed cushions impacts and dampens vibrations
  • AutoCant footbed aligns joints in natural position
  • Flex Slider keeps strap out of way when stepping in
  • Double Take buckles click in quickly and securely

Incredible All Mountain Binding

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Picked these up late 2018 and have been riding them the past two season. The adjustment options and customization is great. The flex in every direction is right on point with what I want out a binding, basically not too soft or stiff all around but super responsive. They are also light weight which is appreciated, and I like the rubber highback webbing that helps hold the heel in place. Ratchets are quick and easy on/off, the ankle strap does not bite or pinch. If you want a do it all binding, these are highly recommended! Burton's higher end equipment always impresses and I'm more than pleased with this purchase.

Malavita mala-forever.

Love Love Love these bindings. Rolled with the wings and without. Honestly I prefer the wings. The only thing I didn't like was how high they sit and how wide they can be when putting in a roof rack. They flex great and are pretty durable. I only broke a strap after 5 years of use which for me is a win.

The BEST.

Familiarity:

If you need binders, you've stumbles across the best ones on the site. Look no further! Hands down the best all mountain bindings, year after year burton kills it with the malavitas. Unmatched comfort all day on the hill with burtons newly redesigned straps and buckles. Toe caps keep you held in on those hard heel turns.

Binding I love and trust!

Familiarity:

I have this binding for my burton boards and I bought this version for my lib tech snowboard. I have enjoyed every moment I have had the EST binding everywhere I went in the mountains. From there I have relized that I needed to get this binding for my lib tech snowboard. Because of how much I have enjoyed these bindings!

Perfection

This binding will do it all! It has a great amount of response and the greatest strap system that I have ever used. I have used them with multiple boot brands and haven't had any issues! I feel confident riding any terrain in these bindings with that heel strap hugging my boots. This is my second season riding these and I honestly feel no need to upgrade. Burton definitely did their part and put a ton of detail into these bindings.

Best Binding on the Market!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've ridden a ton of different bindings and this is the one! Burton's countless hours of R&D have made their bindings the most comfortable and best performing option on the market. The straps are more comfortable and fit on a Burton boot better than any other ones I've tried. The new toecap on this binding is extremely comfortable and doesn't slide up or down like many toecaps out there. All the components are super tough and durable - I've rarely broken anything on a Burton binding. The EST and channel mounting system is by far the best in the industry - my favorite part is that you can choose any stance width option down to under a 10th of an inch while keeping it centered on the reference stance location. You have very limited stance options on a 4-hole mounting pattern that most snowboard companies use. I use this binding for park, powder, all mountain cruising - you name it. It excels in every category. Try it out - you will not be disappointed!

Favorite bindings

Familiarity:

These bindings are my daily driver, they rip in everything from the park to pow. Right in the middle flex wise and are super responsive. Perfect for about every situation. They also have the best strap system in the game right now. If you're looking for a binding that does it all look no further.

Awesome Binding

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I've had the Burton Genesis, Diodes, and Union Ultra, and the malavita is by far my favorite and go to. Super fun binding, that while responsive, is incredibly forgiving. It does run pricier then union bindings, but honestly it has so many more features that I prefer. The new toe strap is fantastic, and the ankle strap comes second to none. They are incredibly durable and I have yet to have an issue with them in the 3 years of riding (besides them getting stolen). Honestly have yet to ride a binding I like more and that has features that compare to this. Also, If you have Burton Boots you shouldn't buy anything but these Bindings. They fit so perfectly.

Flawless

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

After running nothing but Cartels forever, I finally switched it up this year. The heel hammock and strap setup offer amazing hold on the boot, and the overall flex is pretty much perfect-- smooth and responsive. I don't see myself going back.

Underworlds

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

These bindings definitely hold up to their true name. The SuperGrip toestrap is the best on the market and the ankle straps are as comfy as I've tried. Super quick edge to edge with a bit of flex still. Would ride them through the park or in powder no problem.
