Layer with flair - but beware

It's hard not to smile when putting these on, because the fabric is so silky and full of zesty color. They're warm, too, and a bit shorter - they don't quite reach my ankles (I'm 5 foot 5). That's handy with bulky socks; my snug-fitting boots don't have any trouble zipping up around my ankles and calves because of extra layering. What's frustrating about these, though, is the crotch slippage. That no one else has mentioned this makes me wonder if I got a dud pair... but seriously, it's bad enough that these pull my jeans down slightly. I'm chronically having to pull them up. They're warm enough to help carry me through a pedestrian lifestyle in Moscow, so I'm keeping them.

I really like these for warmer days or if I'm layering more for skiing. Super thin and soft material that holds up well! They aren't bulky around the bottoms which is great for skiing and working well with ski boots!

Burton base layer bottoms are my favorite. They're thin yet warm and wick away all the moisture. They're also super comfortable so I find myself wearing them around the house to lounge in. For extremely cold days I would recommend something thicker as these are on the lighter side.

Purchased these for an 18 day Aconcagua trip - and I will likely but another pair ! the fabric is perfect for wear under basically everything to bump up the warmth just a bit - I wore them to summit under a heavy base layer and my gore Tex pants and all alone under soft shells . They are a little too transparent to wear alone - can kinda see undies through ... FYI

These are excellent base layer pants. Extremely lightweight, cozy, and warm. I bought them to layer under other pants but I find myself wearing them around the house b/c they're so comfortable! I'll definitely buy another pair!

i'm a helly hansen fanatic for warmth, but these lightweight pants are awesome! the inseam is crazy SHORT, but on a warm day when you would wear a light base, who cares.
