Stay warm as you slash pow lines through towering sequoias this winter in the Burton Women's King Pine Jacket. Built for the cold days, the King Pine is one of Burton's warmest jackets, second only to the [AK] Flare Down jacket. The King Pine is carefully crafted from two-layer DryRide fabric to keep the elements out, and taped seams to seal the deal, whether it's a day of waist-deep champagne-pow or flat-light groomer laps on a grey and sleet-filled afternoon.

Crafted with warmth in mind, the jacked is carefully mapped out with 650-fill duck down, and lined with Living Lining—Burton's answer to warm afternoons that follow sub-zero mornings. Living Lining offers climate control without added weight by using breathable pores that pull heat away from your body when it's getting a bit too tasty, but shrink when it's colder out, to trap heat within, so you can count on comfort no matter the conditions.

    • Dress like the queen of pow lines in this ultra-warm jacket
    • 650-fill duck-down for intense warmth on cold days
    • Living Lining manages temperature to keep you feeling just right
    • Two-layer DryRide fabric repels water and wind
    • Adjustable hood fits over helmets with ease
    • More pockets than you might know what to do with
    • Eco-conscious Bluesign materials keep you guilt-free

This coat has been amazing on super cold days. I wear it on pow and groomer days, as well as around town. The coat comes down to my mid thighs and has zips on both sides of the hips to give you a extra room if you need. Pockets are aplenty and deep ( I could fit a 6 pack of beer in there and I would still be comfortable) I probably could have gone with a small but the medium is perfect for adding layers and having an oversized look. The color is spot on and I have gotten lot of compliments on it. I would order again and again! Favorite purchase of the season

    a super dreamy jacket

I usually don't bother with reviews, but I was absolutely compelled to write one after being blown away by the quality of this jacket. I went with Jaded color and it looks very close to online. I'm always worried how the colors will match up in real life, so I'm very happy with this color. The overall quality of fabric, stitching, zippers, lining, etc. is absolutely amazing!! Whoever sewn/made this jacket has my greatest respect and appreciation!
It has been able to keep me warm so far as we've been going through some crazy temps here as low as 20s/30s (and even low teens), I can't speak for the subzero temps though.
The fit and sizing were on point. I went with S (for reference I'm 5'7" 145lbs), and I can add a couple of layers underneath and it will still fit. Although if you're about the same size and don't like to layer (depending on where you live) I'd imagine XS would probably fit fine.
