    A reassuring glove system.

If the Burton Gore-Tex Gauntlet Glove could talk, it wouldn't say much. While other talking gloves might spout off about bells, whistles, graphics, and other hullabaloo, the Gore-Tex Glove would keep it short and sweet, only saying, 'relax, I got this' when you're riding a lift into a dark high-elevation cloud. Or perhaps it might only give you a nod to reassure you that your digits will be safe and warm, even when it looks like you're about to tomahawk down a pillow line.

Why is it so confident? Well, this glove system has a guaranteed waterproof membrane in the already waterproof DryRide Ultrashell. Then there's the removable DryRide Thermex liner glove, which can stand on its own when you are shoveling snow. Or, double down with both together when you are heading into a storm. When things are good out there, you'll be inclined to tell your friends, so Burton made this glove with the Screen Grab Touchgrip palm so you can type away.

    Worm and toasty

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got a pear of gloves for me and the mittens for my girlfriend , same model. These gloves are super nice specially for the price , the liners are OK, the size run a little bigger than what I'm use to. Overall great package for the price.

    Price drop

Bought these a few weeks ago they seem to work pretty well in Angel Fire snowboarding last week. They do feel a little small to be XL and I wish the back part of the glove which has a strap to cinch down was a little longer so my coat wouldn’t slip out, but overall they were warm and dry. However, the price just dropped on them significantly over what I paid hopefully Backcountry will make this right!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I agree with many here that the seams started to unravel and now the palms are disintegrating after 1 season. Too bad because they have the features, weight and warmth I was looking for.

      Burton Goretex Gloves

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These gloves kept my fingers warm, unlike most gloves I've had. Unfortunately, after only 4 days of skiing, they have started to tear along the thumb. Certainly would have expected they'd hold up longer than 1 trip!

      Nice, Warm, However Poor Quality

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought a pair of these gloves in February 2014 to as I wanted a warmer pair of gloves to upgrade from my 7+ year old pair of Marmot gloves. I had specific requirements, insulated, waterproof, nose wipe, and hanging wrist straps. Check to all. I've used these gloves maybe for a total of 2 weeks over the period since purchase and unfortunately they are starting to fail big time. The leather is starting to rip and wear away on both hands, and the seam on the palm connecting the thumb piece now has loose stitching allowing me to see the inside of the glove. Too bad they don't hold up, they really did the job and were comfy for snowboarding up in Canada!

      Great gloves for the price

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

No complaints here. I bought a pair for myself as well as my partner for a winter go to glove. The glove is warm even without the liners. The liners are nice for extra cold ski days.

      3 in 1 is always a good time !

Only if your whole body can fit in this bad boy. Gore-Tex guarantee to keep you dry and the dryride thermax liner dries super fast. You can wear just the liner or just the shell or combine both for those mid winter conditions. Has Hidden heater vent pockets and a pre curved fit for extra warmth and comfort.

        Quality not all there

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had this glove for two seasons. I loved it at first. It kept my hands nice and toasty. My hands never got wet thanks to the Gore-Tex. The cuffs worked great to keep snow out. My compaint is that the seam started to tear where the rubbery grip material on the palm meets the fabric in web of my hand. Since the gore-tex fabric wasn't torn I think the glove is still water proof, but it causes a problem for snow and heat. Unfortunately Burton would not grant me any type of credit towards another pair. Thus my low rating. If you want more than one season out of a glove, I'd look elsewhere.
