Designed with input from professional guides from across North America, the Burton Family Tree Gate Keeper Snowboard was designed to handle everything the backcountry can (and will) throw at you, from waist-deep dream days to ice-covered crust and hair-raising steeps to mellow tree runs.
Float and speed were a priority when developing this board, so Burton gave it a tapered directional shape to help it glide effortlessly through powder and blast across flat sections. A mostly camber profile gives it the edge hold and explosive power needed to conquer the most demanding fall lines, while a large rockered nose keeps it afloat in the deepest snow. The flex is stiff enough for confidently dropping into technical steeps, but not too aggressive, so you can still enjoy a surfy sensation on mellower runs. If you want a board that crushes any terrain in any snow conditions, the Gate Keeper holds the key.
