    Intuitive freestyle powers.

Fall in love with the freestyle finesse of the Burton Women's Deja Vu Flying V Snowboard this winter season. Instantly confident hitting park jumps one minute then slashing powder the next, the Deja Vu Flying V feels like a board you've been riding forever. The directional twin shape and mellow flex emphasize freestyle fun and playful personality, everywhere from freshly frosted trees to slushy park laps. Add in a rocker-dominant Flying V profile, and you have a board that's catch-free while turning and buttery-soft on park jibs, with enhanced float for deeper days.

The Flying V profile places a generous rocker between the feet, with subtle rocker transitions at the tip and tail. This rocker-dominant profile makes the board extremely catch-free, preventing you from hanging up on rails and landings in the park. Another main benefit, rocker creates easier float in powder, as the tips point upwards to prevent them from submerging. Flying V places camber back underneath the bindings, which alleviates the washy feel inherent to rocker-dominant boards by exerting pressure firmly onto the snow. Overbite Frostbite edges are elongated along these same camber zones (2x the regular Frostbite edges), extending out from the bindings to confidently engage into icy groomers.

It's loaded with many of Burton's best technologies, including a Super Fly II core for a lightweight feel, plenty of snap for boosting airs, and proven strength required for freestyle riders. Squeezebox core profiling thins out the core in strategic zones for easier manipulation of the board, especially when you're turning quickly or pressing the board in the park. This particular board has Scoop tips, which accentuate the board's skate-like feel when you're treating the mountain like a super-sized terrain park.

    • Mellow freestyle board is intuitive, easy to ride
    • Flying V profile is looser, more playful than camber
    • Directional twin is slightly set-back for better float
    • Medium-soft flex is forgiving for learning tricks
    • Super Fly II core is strong, poppy, and lightweight
    • Overbite Frostbite edges for better grip in icy snow
    • Sintered base readily absorbs wax for fast glide
    • Burton brings 39 years of R&D to its innovative boards

    Versatile Board

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I demoed this board for my first snowboard lesson ever. It was easy to maneuver and did a good job at not catching the snow even with my inexperience, but it is incredibly fast. Since it was my first time boarding, the speed of the board freaked me out sometimes, and resulted in me chickening out and just throwing myself down on the ground in order to make it stop.

I think that this could be a good board for someone who's a little late in the game of learning to snowboard, but wants to be able to keep up with more experienced riders. I could see it staying with someone for a good amount of years while they became more experienced in the sport.

PS here's a pic of the bottom of the board after I clipped my front edge and scorpion-ed. Oops.

    Versatile Board

    Dang this thing is fast!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This board is quick, there is no getting around it! The responsivness of this thing is also on point, it can turn on a dime but you can still get that surfy playful feeling as well! I'm no pro at snowboarding since I ski full time but I can say that they call this board the Deja Vu for a reason.

I felt like I instantly picked up right where I left off!

The board feels really stable and easily locks in to carves; I wasn't able to take this thing in to the trees so I just stuck to the groomers and layed down some carves. I had this set at a 12 and -12 and had so much fun buttering around everything slashing whatever soft snow I could. I think this is an amazing board for anyone intermediate (you have to want to go fast) to Expert. I think that this would be a super fun park board as well this thing has a life of its own and is super poppy!

This board is an all mountain killer or perfect for an advanced park rider!

    Dang this thing is fast!

    Super Playful!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I demoed this board for a week, and rode it four times. Softer than my regular board, which would be great for beginners, but also it is great for learning new tricks because it is so lightweight and easy to maneuver. So it was super fun to ride, I'm sad to see it go! This board also carved pretty well for such a soft board.

This was also my first experience with Burton's EST mountain system, and I used the Burton Lexa EST bindings. The mounting was super easy and stayed in place, which is why I have been hesitant to try this system. More info on the bindings specifically is in my review on that page.

    It will Shred Hard

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought this snowboard as a gift for my girlfriends birthday. She has been snowboarding on a beginners board for years now, so it was time to upgrade. Unfortunately, since it is just the beginning of October, we havent had a chance to break it out yet. However, based on initial reviews it will be a blast. The board seems very durable (as it is a Burton) and the graphics are incredible. Hopefully it rides as great as it looks!@
