    Be legendary.

One of the most legendary freestyle boards of all time, the Burton Custom Snowboard has continued to push the boundaries of riding innovation since its inception in '96. Showing no signs of slowing down its freestyle dominance, the Custom boasts Burton's top technologies wrapped into a traditional camber, directional twin board.

With it being a directional twin, the Custom serves up go-anywhere versatility with a slightly longer nose (when it's mounted at the references) for better straight-line stability. Then, camber underfoot provides powerful snap that's simply not available on rocker hybrids, making it a go-to choice for slopestyle and pipe riders looking to maximize their amplitude. It's also more stable when you're pointing it down unruly steeps and tracking into monster kickers in the park.

Under this legend's hood, the FSC-certified Super Fly II core shaves off weight for faster spins and higher airs, all without sacrificing stomping strength or longevity. It's paired with 45-degree Carbon Highlights for souped-up responsiveness when you're laying into deep carves and snapping from the lip of intimidating jumps. Frostbite edges extend just a smidge beneath the bindings for locked-in hold and enhanced carving, especially in icy conditions. Plus, there's a Sintered WFO base for hauling quickly across varying snow conditions throughout the season.

    • Iconic all-mountain board goes big across the entire mountain
    • Camber profile brings power, pop, and stability
    • Medium-flex offers playfulness without losing strength
    • Poppy wood core strategically reduces weight, not snap
    • Carbon highlights cut more weight and boosts response
    • Frostbite edges maintains grip over icy terrain
    • Channel mounting system provides ultimate adjustability

Can't wait for the season to start

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've had nothing but good experiences on the Custom over the years so this season I decided to make it my daily driver. Went with the standard camber in a 158, no doubt it will handle anything I can throw at it this season. Love the updated shape as well, will be fun to slash around.

Great Upgrade - Great All Mtn

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got a 158" last year to replace my Burton Blunt I had been riding. What a difference! I can fly on this board, very stable at the high speeds, and fun to carve on. Did not catch any edges, and felt more comfotable going down new things. I ride this with Cartel Bindings, very happy with the setup. Would recomm.

    Great All Over The Mtn

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

    Board: Custom 158cm
    Bindings: Burton Genesis EST
    Rider Weight: 180lbs
    Rider Height: 6'0''
    Rider Boot Size: 10
Quiver Position: All-Mountain - with some freestyle/park qualities

    My ideal quiver includes:
    Powder / Freeride-Freestyle / All-Mountain / Party or Jib / Split Board

    Quiver:
This is a great All-Mountain option and daily driver for the east coast riders. And a great option for the rider that occasionally hits the park.

    All-Mountain All the Time:
This is a sweet board, and the only reason I don't have one in my quiver is the flex is a tad softer than my personal preference. But that is not to say the tech and geometry of this board isn't great. I think a lighter rider or rider that enjoys a medium flex board would enjoy this big time. It wouldn't be my first pick for powder but hitting everything else on the mountain would be a blast, plus I love the fact that there is nothing weird about the camber profile on this board.

    Board Selection:
There are a range of board options and this one might be for you....and it might not. Let's chat to make sure. We can also talk shop on boot, binding and board combos and how each part of the set up effects the others for your specific situation.
