Escapade Re:Flex Snowboard Binding

Combining all-day comfort with all-mountain performance, the Burton Escapade Re:Flex Snowboard Binding offers seamless response and a playful feel for tearing up steeps and getting loose in the park. The Kickback Hammock highback uses a suspension system to cradle the back of your boot for immediate response on turns and reduced fatigue during long days. The AutoCant footbed automatically aligns your legs in a natural position, regardless of stance width or angles, for superior control and comfort with less fatigue.

A FullBED cushioning sytem and B3 Gel soak up harsh impacts and vibrations from flat landings and choppy snow. Cored-out to keep it lightweight, the Hammockstrap ankle strap sports a nylon strip running down the center to give you a direct connection to your board at all times. The Supergrip Capstrap 2.0 locks down your boot securely without creating pressure points, and you'll never have to sweat about it slipping off mid-run. Double Take buckles have teeth on both sides to make clicking in faster and smoother, not to mention more secure.

  • Perfect balance of comfort and performance all over the hill
  • Medium flex for all-mountain versatility
  • Kickback Hammock highback provides instant response
  • Hammockstrap provides direct connection at all times
  • FullBed cushions impacts and dampens vibrations

Love the ride!

I've used it several times

Love the way these bindings feel when riding but they do have a few little quarks that have taken some getting used to. The heel grab really grabs! This isn't a bad thing and it is doing exactly what it is intended to do; it just tool a little adjustment to twist my heel more than I previously had to in order to step out of the binding. Second the straps flap open for an easier access but this leads to stepping on them, a lot , when getting off the lift. I just have to remember to tuck them in before I get on. I agree that the straps are also sometimes a struggle to close, but I think that is just because they are new and this will become easier with time. Even with the little quarks of these bindings I love riding them and would definitely recommend to someone looking for a stable binding with medium flex. I wear a size 9 boot and the Large fits by boot.

First burtons

I've used it several times

I have used unions in the past but a salesman talked me into trying the escapade. I’ve used them a dozen or so times. The ankle strap ladder is kind of a hassle to get engaged with the buckle sometimes, it has to be at just the right angle to work. I have also noticed on really cold days (teens and low 20s) that the toe strap ladder and buckle become loose mid run and have had to stop several times to re tighten them, kind of frustrating! When everything is functioning properly, they ride really nice. For the price I feel like these should be hassle free

Love these bindings!!

I’ve been riding with the Burton escapade bindings for a couple of years now and they are easily my favorite ones. I prefer to ride pow, but I ride park and groomed too, and these bindings perform in all conditions. The only thing I have issues with is I’ve needed to adjust the straps to their longest length because they come up a little short when they tighten all the way down and it puts pressure in odd places. But after adjusting them, I have no problems at all.
