Neck too small!
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
I bought these for my 22-month-old daughter. I bought the 2T because we were going to start her downhill skiing and also take her out on snowshoeing and xc-skiing adventures in the Chariot and needed a layer of warmth for our high-altitude winter weather.
They were super cute and the size looked right, but the minute I tried to put them on, it was soon apparent that the neck size was too small for her head. She has kind of a big head, but there was absolutely NO stretch to the neck and they were designed like base layers should be - close to the neck for optimum warmth. No amount of screaming and struggling will get this shirt on. We will be returning these.
I bought these for my niece who just turn 2. She's average for her weight, and maybe a bit tall for her age. We got a 3T, and she fits perfectly in them. A big plus to keep the lil ones warm, dry and happy!
Warm and cute
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 4T
- Height: 3'
- Weight: 31lbs
I bought these for my daughter, who is admittedly on the small side (like 5th percentile for everything) but she loves them. We've gone skiing in them several times now, and even on a couple of very cold days she hasn't complained about being cold.
The base layers are very nice. Everything seems to be stitched together well, and the fabric hasn't shown any signs of balling up or wear.
I can't really comment on whether they fit true to size or not as my daughter is just so small. If your child is on the smaller size of the charts, these things are going to run large. If your child is in the more standard to larger side of the scale I imagine they'd fit just fine.
They're a steal at $31. I just wish adult layers cost the same.
