Biomimicry at its finest.

Barracudas are fearsome fish that are elongated in shape, with sharp fangs and a nasty underbite. Call it biomimicry, but the Burton Barracuda Snowboard is also elongated with 15mm of nose-to-tail taper for obscene float in powder—but instead of sharp fangs and a protruding jaw, the Barracuda features Frostbite edges near the bindings for gripping ice, groomers, and choppy snow between pow-stash feasts. Springloaded with plenty of snap and equipped with a freeride-specific S-Rocker shape, the Barracuda is ready to be unleashed on the cherry-gnar.

  • Tapered shape and S-Rocker profile allow you to downsize 2 to 3cm from your usual board length
  • Springloaded S-Rocker combines rocker up front with a long and stable camber zone, which provides float and superb stability
  • The Channel mounting system improves board flex and allows infinite stance options (compatible with Burton 3D or EST bindings)
  • Sintered WFO base retains wax and goes faster than any other base out there
