    Dependable protection and style.

When old man winter gives you a run for your money, give him the old one-two with a little help from the Burton Men's AK 2L Swash Gore-Tex Jacket. Constructed with materials designed to withstand the gnarliest storms and most rugged terrain, a functional fit for unrestricted mobility, and synthetic insulation to help you brave sub-zero temps, the Swash is your best weapon against the winter's persistent (and albeit a shade annoying) smack-talk.

Now, not that it needs much introduction, but the Swash is outfitted with Gore-Tex, which makes it fully waterproof, complete with the ability to breathe so you stay dry from the inside as well as from the outside. Additionally, the jacket uses a two-layer Gore-Tex membrane and fully taped seams to prevent moisture from seeping in through the cracks. There's 60g Primaloft synthetic insulation in the upper back and front body to keep your core toasty without overheating the rest of your body, while vented chest pockets allow in cooling airflow when you're hiking for turns or hot-lapping the park.

Not to mention, the Swash rocks Burton's signature AK fit, with engineered articulation that allows for total freedom of movement and room for layering. Pull down the Powder Gasket cuffs and snap the removable stretch powder skirt to compatible pants for a bombproof snow suit when things get stupidly deep, and go show January that you're not scared of nothin'.

    • A weather-resistant jacket for shredding in wintry conditions
    • Waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex protects from precipitation
    • Fully taped seams bolster defense against moisture
    • Synthetic insulation curbs the cold, even when wet
    • Chest ventilation provides effortless airflow
    • Powder skirt is removable for customized protection

    Favorite Resort Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L
    • Height: 6'0"
    • Weight: 190lbs

This jacket is awesome. I use it for resort days only, so I love the lightly insulated feature. The pockets are conveniently located, and the internal wrist cuffs are clutch for the blower days. I think my favorite feature on this jacket would be the Gore-Tex. I used this during a very dense week of consistent snowfall in Revelstoke this year, and never had any issues with getting wet. The waterproofing on it is awesome! You cannot go wrong with Gore-Tex in this aspect, and highly recommend this jacket for any resort riding! I found it to be true to size, I am typically a L jacket in every brand and that is what worked for me here too.

Does the hood fit over a helmet or is it a perfect fit for your head without a helmet?
